  • This spot is a pleasant place for a stroll around some well maintained paths although it’s not particularly extensive. There’s a pond which can attracts birdlife although with changing times it’s regressing to more of a prairie with occasional water and increasing vegetation due to natural silt intrusion. What is delightful about the preserve is the fact that it’s a little off the beaten path and therefore is not overly crowded while existing undeveloped next to a small shopping mall, car dealership and regular suburban homes. And it continues to be looked after by enthusiastic community volunteers.

One of the sliding doors was off track. A few missing slats on the vertical blinds made morning tv watching difficult. Wish we got better directions to use the elevator access at the far end of the open parking area. It was our fault that we couldn’t figure out how to lock the apartment door with the fob. We left it unlocked for the first evening before the host got back to us with instructions

The listing is very reflective of the actual unit. It is truly located in a convenient spot and I was able to walk everywhere. Check in was straightforward and didn’t require much contact with the host. The unit is on the 4th floor and the elevator closest to the unit was not working. That is not the host’s fault but it was extremely inconvenient nonetheless. There are other elevators which I found. The neighbors are quiet and friendly and the host was responsive. I appreciate the early check in that they were able to give me. I gave everything 5 stars except the cleanliness which I gave 4 stars. The floor was not clean and neither was the area rug in the living area. There were visible crumbs on the area rug and debris on the floor throughout the unit. Also there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and the kitchen sink was not clean. Fortunately, a broom and cleaning supplies were provided. Once I swept and mopped, it was clear that the floor had not been tended to,

Everything is as advertised. Its a clean luxury apt. I think sleeps 3 is a little generous as its just the bed and couch and the couch is more a sitting room couch and not a sleeping couch. Pool was nice. Never could find the gym based on directions given and didnt want to keep bothering the host so cant review that. Host was helpful and quick to respond when i did ask questions though.
