The place was clean and tidy; however, cheaply thrown together and sparse with amenities. Cabinets in the kitchen were difficult to open as they seemed to be sized incorrectly for the space, even a hinge or two loose or coming off. One of the bedrooms also had a bedside table that is held together by spit - and can’t be opened without the front falling off. The kitchen table rocks with an inch of wobble. The kitchen utensils like spatula and the like are melted and damaged, pots are scratched, etc. and no sheet pans. Basic, sparse, lowest of quality items, even with attention only to decoration. Additionally, although this is not necessarily a comment on the owners of the place, the other guests in the place seemed to have no awareness of their surroundings or time of day. Starting around 10pm and lasting past midnight, there was a loud young child running around the property, alternately singing and crying, playing and screaming. A woman also contributed to the scene, loudly carrying on conversations at top volume. Snippets of conversations where she recommended to someone to “put his pants on” peppered our evening as we tried - unsuccessfully- to drift off to sleep. As a guest in a place unfamiliar to us, we had no recourse for any of the noise and disturbance. We had two young children with us and a full day planned with a long drive home at the end of it. We were stuck, simply put, and suffered through. Not a good experience.
