Great hotel with noise issues
The hotel is great located, a good hotel with wall noise issues in some walls. Never had that, I live in hotel rooms for my job. I have to say a huge thank you to the reception manager Elias..if it wasn't for his efforts our stay would have turned into a real bad stay. If they solve the noise issue on the walls ( probably air conditioned pipes) I would suggest a stay at the midtown centric Hyatt anytime.

Very friendly and pleasant hotel. Great staff and amenities. Very clean. They had a reasonable and good breakfast buffett. The only small item is that my room has a weird smell but I think it was lack of ventilation.

Requested that housekeeping turndown the sofa bed. Two individuals brought linens to room but said no to putting linens on the sofa bed. One person indicated that she would “help me” put the linen on, but she would not do it herself.

They are performing renovations to the 9th floor and above. I was on the 8th floor. Construction started at 7am and was incredibly noisy. The front desk could not get them to stop. Horrid experience.

We had the best time at the Hyatt. We loved CJ at the front desk, he was very patient, funny, and always had a great attitude. We also loved the manager, Rabbit, she was so sweet and always immediately noticed when we would arrive back to the hotel helping us with valet.

Everything was great with the exception of parking. Unless you use valet for parking in the same garage, you have to self park all the way at the top (9th level) of the parking garage, park your vehicle, and then walk down a flight of stairs to reach the elevator.

Pictures are misleading. The hotel is dated and the room barely had any light coming in since there is a whole parking building blocking the windows. Feels like you have no privacy. Also, the noise sucked. You could hear the conversations from the rooms next door. Will never stay at a Hyatt property. This is the second time I have an issue with this chain of hotels. Subpar service. Stick to Marriott or Hilton family of properties.

Upon arriving, the front desk informed me that the room type I prepurchased was not available. I was given a smaller room on a loud street without compensation or a partial refund of any kind. Otherwise the hotel is ok. Certainly wouldn’t stay again.

The Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta was one of the best hotel visits I have had within my time visiting the area. Not only was the entire staff extremely sweet and communicative during our last-minute reservation, but further assisted in guiding us on what ameneties were in the facilities and keeping us up to date on any major issues that may have arised across the hotel (which were minimal by the way). Overall, this has become my go-to spot to visit when traveling to Atlanta; You won't be dissapointed!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My only complaint is Betty Minor and can't really be fixed there are only 2 elevators. I'm sure most of the time that is plenty; but, I had bad luck and ended up having to wait a couple times. But this is still 4 stars because the staff did everything that they could to make the entire stay great.

We enjoyed our first stay at Hyatt Centric-Midtown and will likely return. Every staff member from the front desk (Kaya) to valet (Rabbit & Zeb) that we encountered were exceptionally friendly and professional. When we needed to request additional linens, we received them in a matter of minutes. Every time we requested valet, our car was ready in record time. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and allowed for a good nights sleep. My only con(s) were: •poor lighting in the room •water build-up, mold on shower head •2 bottled waters in room were not complimentary You do hear some traffic from the room but it’s to be expected from staying in any city hotel. Our cons/dislikes are not enough to keep us away from a future stay as they were all minor and easily fixable. Thanks for a great weekend stay!

Valet/check in area crowds easily. Only one person on valet and if you have to wait, yohrr stuck, with a line behind you. Booked the junior suite and there was no door to separate the room from the living area. Also, couch did not fold out ... very inconvenient. One last thing... i paid $300 for one night in a junior suite and it had no view, just a street, with a building blocking the view. Not worth the money. It was giving ... Sonesta 😒.
