THE SPACE
Situated on 5 acres of rolling forested land less than 30 miles from Atlanta, Macland Manor is set back on the property behind a line of trees for the ultimate in privacy. The property is accessed via an electric gate for security and is ideal for hosting exclusive events and family gatherings.
The main entrance to the home is on the second level where the social entertaining areas and 5 bedrooms are located. The estate’s large, open format kitchen is outfitted with high end appliances including a 6-burner gas range, double ovens, and pantry as well as a premium housewares and appliances package for serving to any size group. An island with bar seating is awash with the glow of suspended pendant lights offering a perfect area for morning coffee from the Kuerig or overflow seating during events. An elegant dining area with a farmhouse style table completes this space. Adjacent is a cozy den with classic stone fireplace and French doors that allow for a seamless flow directly to an expansive porch/balcony with outdoor fireplace and lovely views of the forest and in-ground heated pool.
Four king bedrooms are located on the main level, 2 with ensuite bath, and one bunkbed room with ensuite. Also on the main level is an oversized laundry room off the kitchen with additional prep and storage space. Enjoy access to one of two garages here as well, with generous space for 2 vehicles plus recreational gear.
Head down to the estate’s ground level where a theatre room, game room and large recreational space offer amazing entertaining options for any type of event. Screen the newest release in the private theatre, hold a gamer’s tournament in the recreation room, and the main event space complete with built in wet bar and large screen TV is ideal for hosting a cocktail reception or watch party.
The lower level is also home to bedrooms six and seven. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a king plus a twin-over-twin bunk. These bedrooms share the estate’s fourth full bath that is in close proximity. Additional sleeping options can be found on any of the home’s plush sofas.
Both levels of the home have walk out access to the estate’s beautiful outdoor living areas where the main attraction is an in-ground pool with generous deck space. Overlooking the pool area is a patio off the main level of the home with dining table and propane grill. Stairs lead down from here to the pool which is surrounded by ample seating and entertaining space that is perfectly blocked from outside view by a mature forest.
There is also a second garage on the ground level for secure parking, plus additional parking for another 20 cars in the driveway and on property. The infrastructure and layout of the residence and surrounding 5-acre grounds is simply ideal for social and corporate entertaining!

The pool opens for the season in early March and closes for the winter mid-December.
If you plan to bring a pet we do charge a fee. To avoid fines, please ensure your pet has been added to your reservation. Notify our team to include this information if your pet was not added during the booking process. It`s $300 per pet per stay to bring them along.
The minimum age to rent this home is 25 years old. The number of people staying must be appropriate for the number of beds. We reserve the right to approve the reservation based on sleeping accommodations.
Small Bluetooth speaker is OK with volume at respectable level. Written approval is required to exceed the standard occupancy of sixteen (16) for this home. Unless permission is granted in writing to exceed the standard occupancy number, Reservation Holder agrees to limit overnight guests, including infants and children, to standard occupancy of sixteen (16).
To ensure neighborhood noise levels are respected, the home is equipped with NoiseAware, an excessive noise alert system that measures noise levels. NoiseAware does NOT record sounds or conversations.
For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are external security cameras in the following locations on this home:

These cameras record exterior areas only and hold the information for 30 days. Footage is only reviewed in the event of a break-in or any potential house rules violation. There are no cameras anywhere inside the home.
Exterior Cameras
- Exterior cameras are located at the front door, car port, pool area, garage, and back yard.
- There are no cameras inside the home.
Rates & Guest Count
- The base rate covers the first 7 guests.
- Each additional guest (age 3 and over) is $30 per person, per day. This fee applies to anyone who comes onto the property, not just overnight guests. It helps cover additional wear and tear, increased cleaning/disinfecting, and higher utility usage.
- Children 2 and under stay free.
Pets:
- Pets are welcome for $300 per pet, per stay.
Events
- Events may be possible depending on the type of event, number of people, and number of cars.
- All events must be approved by the host.
- Typical cost is $30 per person.
Smoking
- No smoking inside the house or garage.
- Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $1,000 fine.
General Rules
Respect & Noise
- Respect neighboring properties—no trespassing into yards or driveways. Treat neighbors with courtesy and respect.
- Keep outdoor noise at a reasonable level at all times.
- Quiet hours begin at 9:30 PM.
- Any amplified outdoor music must be pre‑approved by the host.
Parking & Property Use
- Park only in the garage, car port, or driveway. There is ample parking on the property. No street parking is permitted.
- Fireworks are prohibited anywhere on the property.
- No off‑road vehicles are allowed.
- Lock all doors and windows when leaving the home.
Safety & Liability
- The host is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal belongings during your stay.
Pool Use
- The pool is typically open mid‑March through mid‑November, weather permitting.
- If your stay is near these dates, confirm pool availability if you plan to use it.
- Pool is maintained at 75°F during the season.
- Heating above 75°F is $25 per degree, per day (request at least 1 day before arrival).
- Maintenance staff visits once per week, usually for about 30 minutes.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool.
Refunds & Fees
- Refund Policy:
- 100% refund (less a 3% credit card processing fee) up to 30 days before arrival
- 50% refund (less a 3% credit card processing fee) up to 14 days before arrival
- Early arrivals and late departures incur a $200 fee.
- Neighbor complaint: $500 fee.
- Security dispatched: $500 fee.
- Police called: $1,000 fee and guests may be required to vacate immediately without refund.
- Unregistered guests: $500 penalty plus $60 per person for anyone on the property not included in the reservation.
Home Care
- Do not attach anything to walls or ceilings with tape, tacks, or adhesives. Damage will result in charges.
- Return any moved furniture to its original position. A $100 fee applies if items are not reset.
- Rental Requirements- Minimum rental age is 25.
- Guests must sign the rental agreement prior to check‑in. Instructions will not be released until the agreement is signed.
