Enjoy the beautiful and spacious beachfront at the Brigantine Beach Inn. This is a great time of the year to enjoy the oceanfront and arguably one of the better beaches on the Jersey Shore.
The property is dog friendly (with additional Pet cleaning fee).
THE SPACE
The expansive and clean beachfront in family friendly Brigantine is one of New Jersey's best kept secrets. For those that want to visit the boardwalk this is also within driving distance to the boardwalks at Atlantic City and Ocean City.
This Large Studio Suite sleeps up to 4 guests. The spacious, residence-style layout includes a Queen bed and Living room area with a Queen sleeper sofa. This unit also has a Full kitchen with full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, cookware, dinnerware and flatware for four.
LaScala's Beach House is also onsite and has good food and beverage options set in a Caribbean theme, along with live music performances during the week. There are many outdoor seating and lounging areas around the Bar area as well as additional outdoor seating on the large common Patio outside the main Building entrance. This makes for many relaxing outdoor spots for enjoy a coffee in the morning and a beverage of choice in the evenings. There is also a large Indoor Pool and Game Room.
Brigantine New Jersey has a year-round population just above 9,000 people – that may not be tiny, but it’s small enough to create a real sense of local community on the island. Even during the summer when the population more than triples for several months, the island is not nearly as touristy as other cities on the Jersey shore.
RESORT VIEW CATEGORY:
The Resort Hotel itself is Beachfront, located directly on a wide and beautiful beach, and is only steps away from the building.
While this specific unit is located on the 1st floor of the Building, and is on the Ocean side, there is no real view from the window because of being on the first floor. It's probably accurate to call this a Resort View category.
STAIRS / ACCESSIBILITY:
There are some stairs to enter and exit the main facility, but this unit is located conveniently on the first floor, so no steps inside to your unit, and the building has elevators to reach the higher floors.
BUILDING / UNIT INTERIORS:
This property was originally constructed in 1927. According to local lore the Inn was frequented by Al Jolson and Al Capone and various other mob bosses and figures that preferred this location over Atlantic City.
Over the years ownership was transferred to various entities, and today the Brigantine Inn is run by Legacy Vacation Club Resorts, who have tried to retain the essence and some of the design elements found in the original construction.
While you will find most unit interiors are clean and comfortable, they are a bit plain and a little dated. These units definitely have more of a rustic feel with older furnishings, comfortable but not luxurious. I'm not saying that to be negative, I'm just trying to help level set realistic expectations about what to expect. Having said that we enjoy our visits here, and this doesn't detract from our personal experience because the location can't be beat. Hopefully the photos provided give you a general understanding for what I am describing.
The benefits offered by staying at this resort are...
1. The fantastic beach in front of the property, only a short walk from your unit. You will not find the beach here as crowded as other locations on the Jersey Shore, which makes this a great location for a beach vacation.
2. Overall amenities (indoor pool, along with onsite LaScala's Beach House where you can enjoy a beverage, meal, and live music sitting beachfront, etc,.)
3. The price. This is a very economical way to enjoy staying at an oceanfront property in New Jersey during a prime summer week, offering you more size and features (including a Full Kitchen) than a traditional hotel room elsewhere.
Many families enjoy their annual vacations at this property, however if you are a traveler that requires luxury accommodations, this may not be the right choice for you. If you have any specific questions on this please don't hesitate to ask.
GUEST ACCESS
This is a Resort Hotel property, so your unit will be private, but Amenities (Pools, Sun Deck, Beach, Game Room, etc) will be shared with other guests.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.
- Brigantine Beach Inn is professionally managed and operated by Legacy Vacation Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance.
- Please note that once you Check In and get access to your unit, if you encounter any issues or concerns regarding Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc…please contact the Front Desk / Office IMMEDIATELY. The staff members on-site provide the best opportunity to get any concerns resolved in the fastest and most efficient manner.
- One FREE parking pass is included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee (based on availability).
- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring additional if your family has their own favorite pillows or blankets.
- Bath and Hand towels are provided for you and will be inside your unit when you arrive.
- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, there are Washers and Dryers available at onsite Laundry facilities. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.
- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis.
- You should bring your own Beach Towels / Beach Chairs / Beach Blankets / Umbrellas / Coolers / Equipment you want to use on the beach. If you don’t bring your own stuff, you are able to rent Beach chairs / Umbrellas, etc., in the area.
- 4 Beach Tags are provided for FREE. You do NOT have to purchase them separately.
- Pet (Dog) Friendly: You can bring your (smaller) dog for an extra Pet fee of $150-$250 per week. This additional fee would be paid directly at the Front Desk during Check In / Check Out. This fee is not paid to the Owner or VRBO. You can call the Front Desk directly and discuss any questions about charges or conditions.
