Northwinds Adventures - nuovissima cabina rustica di Walleye

Seduto sulla proprietà di Northwinds Adventures, un campo tutto l'anno, questa nuovissima cabina "Walleye" è disponibile adesso.  All'interno, dispone di 2 camere da letto; uno con un letto matrimoniale (lenzuola fornite) e un altro con un letto a castello gemello superiore e fondo futon completo (lenzuola fornite su richiesta per una tassa di $ 10).  Per ulteriore spazio per dormire, c'è un divano letto nel soggiorno (lenzuola fornite su richiesta per una tassa di $ 10) o spazio per un lettino. Pavimenti in legno di quercia bianca in tutta la cabina, il bagno è piastrellato con una doccia di standup. Una stufa a legna è disponibile per prendere il freddo nelle stagioni più fresche, legna da ardere per $ 5 / bundle.  La cucina è piena di tutto il necessario per preparare un ottimo pasto dopo una giornata all'aperto.

La cabina è inserita in un boschetto di assi di circa 100 metri dal nostro molto privato Lago Amore.  C'è un ponte per rilassarsi e una fossa del fuoco nel cortile.  C'è anche una griglia a carbone; Ma il carbone non è fornito.

Godetevi liberi di percorrere i sentieri che circondano i nostri 220 acri, pagare una canoa o un kayak nel nostro lago, o trascorrere del tempo sulla nostra spiaggia privata.  

Il lago d'amore è un lago privato alimentato da 10 ettari e c'è molta opportunità per pescare dalla riva.  Per proteggere la nostra popolazione di trote e walleyes di ruscelli nativi, ti chiediamo di utilizzare esclusivamente esche artificiali e leggere tutti i nostri amici finti nel lago per combattere un altro giorno!

Si prega di notare che durante il mese di giugno, luglio e agosto ospita il programma "Campione Base Keweenaw Camp" di Camp Luther e talvolta la nostra area di mare / spiaggia è riservata per il loro utilizzo.  Avremo segnaletica e ti informeremo del programma di spiaggia all'arrivo.  I gruppi di base campi Keweenaw arrivano domenica sera e partono venerdì mattina quindi la spiaggia è disponibile la maggior parte dei fine settimana.  Durante la settimana, spesso trascorrono delle vacanze in modo che la spiaggia sia aperta anche durante la settimana.

Se state arrivando a ATV o in motoslitta, ti chiediamo di non guidare macchine sulla proprietà.  Puoi comunque guidarli direttamente dalla proprietà al sentiero, una breve corsa legale sulle strade fino al sentiero di Bill Nichols situato a circa 3 miglia di distanza. * A causa del Flood Bill del 2019, Nicholas Trail è chiuso ed è un viaggio di 5 miglia fino al sentiero 3.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Only a short drive from Houghton, the cabin was a great location to call home for a few days. There are kayaks available to rent for an additional fee. I would highly recommend.

Perfect cabin, close enough to Houghton but far enough to enjoy the serene, beautiful area. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

We visited our son for Winter Carnival and found this gem of a cabin. The owners are very kind and accommodating for everything we asked for. The fireplace and furniture were so cozy! Highly recommend any of their cabins!!!

This was our third stay in the cabins in Atlantic Mine. They have truly become our home-away-from-home for our visits to our son, a student at Michigan Tech. The cabins a very clean and comfortable.

What a great place this is! So much to do on the property alone. We were not expecting that. Our teens loved fishing and swimming in the lake. We were able to cookout. And everyone slept comfortably in the cabin. Everything was very clean. The communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice cabin for 4 guys on a spring fishing trip. Bunk beds are a little small. Kitchen/ living room is spacious and comfortable. Quiet wooded location. Would definitely stay here on a return trip.

My husband and I found this cabin near Houghton so we could spend a weekend with our son, who is a student at Michigan Tech. The cabin was spacious, with attractive, sturdy furniture and cabinetry. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the scenery was just gorgeous.

Northwinds Adventures is amazing. We stayed (family of 5, 3 kids ages 13, 11, and 8) in the Walleye cabin. There was plenty of room, the kitchen had all the dishes, pans, and utensils you need. Bathroom was adequate and small bedrooms we didn't spend much time inside. Firepit was nice and spaced privately from other cabins. There is firewood at each cabin for a reasonable price and it is dry, hardwood firewood. The lake is excellent with 2 platforms to jump off of. The cost to use the nice paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes ($15/person for the stay) is a steal! The equipment available is great. We caught a couple walleye and a perch on the lake too. Paying for the watersports equipment and firewood is easy, just venmo the owner at the end of your stay. The location is nice if you want to be just out of town and we strongly recommend heading to breakers for a sunset fire on the black sand beach. Highly recommend Northwinds Adventure as a base camp for your Keweenaw trip.

This was our third time visiting the walleye cabin and per usual, it did not disappoint. We always felt right at home. This place is a gem. Even though my cell phone had poor reception (which I am usually happy about), the wifi was strong enough to facilitate calls without hitch. We also appreciate the gifted maple syrup from the hosts. We are planning on returning again!

The location, cabin and environment were very peaceful. The property managers were prompt responding to any questions and were helpful. The cabin was clean and set up nicely. My boys had a blast in the lake kayaking and fishing (they were catching nice walleye). Couldn't recommend enough.

What a wonderful find! I planned a spur of the moment trip to visit my daughter at Michigan Tech. Five of us stayed very comfortably in the CLEAN cabin. We cooked and ate all of our meals there and had everything we needed—pots, pans, appliances, dishes. The weather was beautiful and we were able to open all of the windows to enjoy the fresh air. The fire pit is a nice size and located very close to the cabin, and firewood chopped and ready for a reasonable price. The host was quick at responding and was very attentive. We look forward to coming back after the lake is melted so we can enjoy some of the fun there. I love the serenity that this property has to offer. We will be back!

We were visiting our MTU son & wanted a place to relax after outdoor adventures. The walleye cabin was a perfect place for our family of 4 to relax by the fire, work & do homework (good WI-FI), cook, and play games. The cabin was clean, well organized, & the beds & furniture were comfortable. And the view out to the aspens is beautiful. Michelle was easy to work with & accommodating when we needed to alter our plans. We would recommend this cabin & hope to be back one day.

The cabin has a cozy feel without being cramped. We loved the wood fireplace, and our MTU son was able to stay with us one night. We even hosted another small MTU family for lunch before heading to do some hiking! Great location close to the college with the amenities of home!

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. Its somewhat secluded and very neat and clean. The best part was being able to sit on the deck or in front of the fire pit and have peace and quiet. I highly recommend this property! Its about a 16 minute drive to Michigan Tech, good distance without being too far.

We only stayed 3 nights, it wasn't long enough. The cabin is very beautiful and set up perfectly inside and out. We joked about just moving into the cabin and not leaving. Next year we're spending the whole week there. Since we only spent 3 days, we didn't get a chance to use the trails, but did get a little time to fish. Me and my daughters caught perch and walleye.
