Two bedroom cabin with hot tub and fireplace.

Let this adorable log cabin nestled in the Hiawatha National Forest be your home away from home. The cabin features two bedrooms, full kitchen, living room, bathroom and wifi. Not to mention a beautiful working handcrafted fire place in the living room. Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing in a large screened in porch. Spend your nights soaking in the outdoor hot tub under the stars. There is also a private out door fire pit and picnic table. Located minutes from Munising and popular attractions such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, glass bottom boat tours, countless waterfalls, shopping and dining. Booking this cabin gets you a discount on kayak and canoe rentals from AuTrain River Canoe and Kayaks which is directly across the street.
Book a week or more and save 5% on your total booking. Pets accepted with a pet fee. Be sure to add the pet when choosing the number of guests during the checkout process. Your reservation must have the pet fee included for your pets to allowed.

The hot tub was hot and ready for us! It was so comforting after a long drive. The fireplace was also perfect with an outdoor firepit as well! The house smelled so good when we walked in and there is plenty of blankets and a heater for chilly nights. They sell firewood, which we had bought some locally unknowingly.

This property was exactly what we were hoping for; quiet and private but still close to recreation as needed. The cabin itself was so cozy and everything was clean and inviting. Gorgeous property with woods all around. The hot tub was the icing on the cake after a long day hiking and kayaking! Thank you for sharing your amazing cabin!

My daughter and I had an amazing stay! This was the perfect spot for chasing waterfalls around town. Halfway between Marquette and Munising we found so many and had a day at Pictured Rocks. This house is perfect for pets too. House was clean, beds were comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Thanks for the hospitality. One thing I would recommend is make sure you bring coffee.

Cozy cabin in the woods

Had eveything we needed from hot tub to kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware to wifi. Private. Quiet. We grilled out, but didn't take advantage of the firepit. Lots of hiking trails, beaches, and falls.check out. Would totally stay again.

Relaxation

Nice little cabin in a great location if you are here in season. We were here a week before the cruises for Pictured Rock start. In spite of that, our stay was relaxing. Loved the hot tub.

Pure relaxation

We made our way out to the UP from western Minnesota not entirely sure what we'd be getting into. But upon our arrival, we were pleasently surprised at how perfect this little cabin was. The cabin was well decorated with a nice woods esthetic that made for cozy evenings in. The hottub was amazing and felt so good at the end of a long day of hiking all the beautiful parks close by. We had the joy of watching herds of deer passing through the yard while we sat out in the tub! Any problems we ran in to, which were few and very minor, were resolved immediately by the hosts. They were quick to respond and happy to help. The whole experience was everything we could have hoped for. Very relaxing and enjoyable!

Au Train Cabin

The cabin smelled like propane. The electric door lock was hard to use being afraid we might not be able to reopen door we left it unlocked when we were out. Only half of the hot tub jets worked and the water gave my wife a rash only used the tub the first night.When we arrived the coffee pot was on and the bottom of the pot was burnt.Was very disappointed with the cabin. Would not recommend staying there.

Our favorite cabin for XC skiing

My adult daughter and I have enjoyed this cabin for the past two Februarys now. The fireplace is wonderful and it's perfect after a day skiing in what turned out to be bitterly weather. Also, the hot tub is a very welcome addition! We're hoping to book this same cabin in 2026.

Great place

Get-a-way for my birthday, wanted a hot tub pet friendly place close to snowmobile trails. Trail that was close was closed but found another way after talking with the host. Heather answered almost immediately every time. Will be back I’m sure. Hot tub was fabulous

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We had such a lovely time at this beautiful cabin in the woods near Au Train. The serenity of the location--the quiet and peace of the surrounding woods--the lovely variety of birds and wildflowers--made it a near perfect vacation. Our interactions with our host were welcoming, friendly and promptly helpful when we had questions about anything at all. We have made plans to return next year for an expanded time frame of 10 days up from a week--working towards two weeks in future. We had an absolutely wonderful time.
