“The owner offered prompt service and ultimately gave a refund. The property was nice, but cleaning was not sufficient even after cleaning lady came a 2nd time. Details below:When we arrived there was hair in the bathtub, food on the counters and stove top, and the dish soap was almost empty. There was no way to bolt the unit from the inside. I texted and the owner promptly sent someone to clean while we were out eating. When we returned some things were better, but the kitchen counter still...

“Location was great. Check in was great. Dishes were dirty. Bed was small (not sure it’s even a queen, pretty sure it’s a full). Bed has one side that is very warn and one side that is not; over all bed is very uncomfortable and also has a plastic sound. Pillows were flat- extremely old. White towels were dingy, did not feel clean. Nothing to sit on out on the patio either. I would say very classic of “you get what you pay for”.”

“This hidden gem was an amazing stay!! KIM the manager is the most accomodating I have ever witnessed!! My brother (different room, just as beautiful as my Egyptian theme room was with me. I was running so late for my daughters UNT grad ceremony, I pulled in and sweet Kim was waiting for me outside at my room door which I parked feet from! Explained the digutal door lock etc- and I was in.My brother came there after for his room and asked Kim was there any food around, she said no but...

“The room was totally neglected with dirty sheets on the bed from a former occupant. Long hair between the sheets set the tone, shower curtain liner was gross, sink disposal drain had horrible odor. We were devastated! ”

“This property was perfectly located right in the heart of the square. I fell in love with downtown McKinney and had a wonderful time. I wish I could spend every weekend there ”

“Sheets were dirty for one of the beds. Windows in the kitchen were not latched (so someone could’ve broken in). House looked like it was under renovation (walls looked like they were being worked on). Hand soaps were filled with water. Fire alarm was ripped out. There was an old wash cloth left on top of the shower head. No iron or iron board or washer and dryer as advertised. Minimal check in or check out instructions.”
