Single Family home located on Owasco Lake, 10 minutes from Auburn, 15 minutes from Skaneateles Lake, 30-minute drive from Ithaca/Cornell area. Enjoy all the Finger Lakes region has to offer from wineries to restaurants, or bring your own boat and enjoy Owasco lake. Recently remodeled home has everything you need to relax, spacious backyard with firepit, wrap around porch with dual fans to ease the summer heat, large outdoor eating area, private dock and lakeside firepit. The inside of the house is fully equipped as well with dishwasher, washer and dryer, WiFi and smart TVs. Window Unit AC in primary bedroom.

Lovely house and location. Great sunsets off the back porch and beach. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for some great meals, including the outdoor grill. Short drive to Auburn for a meet up with wine tour operator and dinner at the Prison City Pub( yummy!). Hiking in Fillmore Glen at the bottom of Owasko was great too! Lastly, communications with owner were great!

My family and I stayed at this house in August 2025. We had a great week and were fortunate with perfect weather for activities on the lake, including swimming kayaking and sailing. The house was very nice, downstairs looked very recently renovated. We liked the many places to eat, including large dining room table inside, large table on the back porch and sitting area around the fire pit. It sleeps six adults comfortably in good beds, and there is another bedroom with a twin bed and a trundle. The stairs down to the lake are very steep, so be aware of that. We sat outside many nights in the evening, and it was a very quiet area. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Great family friendly property. Lake front with a dock on a quiet street. *People with mobility problems may have a hard time with beach stairs. Communication with the host is excellent. Easy check in and out. Our second year staying at this property.

Owasco Lake House

This property was very convenient for us as we were attending a wedding in Skaneateles which was 15-20 minutes away. It is an older lake house that has been updated. Very quiet neighborhood.

Gorgeous View

Spacious, comfortable home with much thought and care to convenience of renters. The sunsets were outstanding! It was a quiet location with minimal traffic, perfect for our family with small children. We spent many hours enjoying the back deck. We rented a boat from the local marina so the use of the dock was ideal. We’d definitely come back again!

Owasco Lake House 2024

We loved Owasco lake last year! We wanted to stay closer to Auburn, so we chose 4857 Rockefeller rd. It was very clean, well supplied and had plenty of room for 6 adults and a 1 year old. We loved the back porch overlooking beautiful back yard and the lake! The large master suite was wonderful as well! We also loved being close to Auburn and Skaneateles! We would stay again!
