“Nice grounds, lots to do and lots of wildlife. Loved the Dovecot and the beautiful birds everywhere! Very family oriented but still had a great time just me and my husband. Rooms in the hotel are a bit dated and run down, but fine for a short stay. One thing I didn't really appreciate was the lack of help from staff when trying to get a taxi to Gleneagles for a special lunch we had booked. I asked two separate members of staff if they could help me get a taxi as I was struggling and both times...

“Stay was absolutelly perfect! We spend Hogmanay (Scottish New Year) there and the dinner and overall experiences was absolutelly remarkable. The site is also immersed into nature and the River Tay is in front of the main building offering visitors lots of options to walk and go fishing. The hotel is superb, rooms are spacious and clean. We would only like to mention that the beds are a bit short, so if you are over 175cm tall, that may bother you a bit. Overall the hotel offered us an amazing...

“This bed and breakfast does the job- a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast. It is showing its age but there is evidence of renovation and a strong smell of recent paint. So to the owners credit they are investing in updates and care about their customers. I was travelling so only needed a good nights sleep. I did walk to a nearby Indian and had no concerns about my safety. I would use again on my travels as it is value for money and updating.”
