Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
L'hotel, che è in realtà una buona pensione, è in ottima posizione rispetto al centro città che è raggiungibile anche a piedi in 10 minuti. La camera tripla, spaziosa e pulita, era nel nostro caso situata nella palazzina di fronte alla reception e al ristorante. Da segnalare l'assenza di ascensore per camere situate su tre piani. Disponibilità di posti auto riservati gratuiti.

Overall, it was not bad. The streets were a bit noisy much of the night, but eventually quieted down. Since it was pretty hot, the fan and open windows were nice. Also, it was great to have onsite parking. Right across from Fuggerai.

Ich muss ehrlich zugeben, einige negative Bewertungen verstehe ich nicht. Wenn man nicht das Ritz-Carlton bucht, kann man weder den Service noch die Ausstattung erwarten. Wir waren vom 02.12.-09.12 im Jakoberhof. Das Check-In verlief ohne Probleme. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war gut, mehr als vier Sorten Wurst, zwei Sorten Käse nutze ich morgens auch nicht. Dazu kommen noch diverse Marmeladen, Müsli, Joghurt, Obst etc. – was will man mehr? Das Hotel liegt super zentral, die Fuggerei ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt und zum Dom braucht man zu Fuß gerade mal 20-25 Minuten.

Während einer Wochenend-Ausbildung verbrachte ich 2 Nächte in einem Einzelzimmer im Jakoberhof. Einfache Einrichtung, aber sauber, feste Matratze, kleiner Balkon. Kleiner runder Tisch, zum Arbeiten wäre ein eckiger besser gewesen. Freundliches Personal. Preis-Leistung absolut okay.

God placering, fin morgenmad men ærgerlig komfort
Venligt, smilende og informerende personale. God renlighed og fine store værelser. Placering perfekt ift. seværdigheder i Augsburg (bl.a. nabo til Fuggerei). Der serveres en fin og mættende morgenmadsplatte som substitut for buffet under COVID-19. Komforten og dog ikke alverdens værd. Stenhårde senge der knirker og brager bare man tænker på at bevæge sig i dem.

Empfehlenswert für Städtetrip
Hotel liegt supernah zur Innenstadt, Ausstattung ist gut, Verkehr und Straßenbahn belästigen nur geringfügig. Zimmer ist in gutem Zustand, Bad (nur Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang) war dauernd unter Wasser, da nützte auch die vorgezogene Wand nichts. Frühstück sehr beengt, gut sortiert aber: dauernd war etwas aus, teilweise nur verzögert wieder aufgefüllt. Kaffeemaschinen sehr eigenwillig, Personal hatte es nicht im Griff.

Nice little hotel - imagine a university dorm, and you’ll get a feel for it. It’s not a traditional type of hotel, the rooms are in a separate building. Perfectly comfy though - good shower, good heater, bed ok. I had to ask for extra blanket and I wish I had had an extra pillow. I also wish there had been water or a kettle or something in the room. There was shampoo and shower gel combined, but that’s it. Hair dryer too, but no tissues. Didn’t try breakfast. Communications were ok - they tried to be helpful with bus and tram info from Train station but they only gave me a part of the puzzle. In the end it’s not far, it’s 20 min in foot. If you want to take a bus it’s the 23 from the street to the left of the station (where Radastation is). Don’t go into Banhofstrassa, as the bus and trams there won’t take you to the hotel, which is on Fuggerei stop. You can get to Radaplatz and take the tram line 1, but for 3 euros you may prefer to walk. I was told taxi would have been 6 euros. The hotel is 3 min walk to Rathausplatz and there are lots of places to eat nearby. Anyway, for £55 a night it was fine. Don’t let your first impressions cloud your judgement.

The hotel is comprised of 3 separate buildings. Our room seemed a little expensive for basic facilities. No lift to upper floors in the building we were in. Breakfast was available at additional cost but we did not sample it so cannot comment further. On a positive note, the room was clean and serviced daily. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom lacked a shower curtain though.

Unser Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und funktional. Wer eine Unterkunft lediglich zum Übernachten und Duschen sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet enthält alles, was man für einen guten Start braucht.

The hotel is made up of three buildings, some of which may be converted apartments. I had a room in the attic of a 4 floor building like this with a tough climb up the stairs. Room was basic but clean. Pity the bed struts broke twice and that the window on to the street could only be fully opened, not 'cracked' to let air circulate. No a.c. but a fan was provided. Shower is over the bath but with no curtain or screen the water flooded the floor and needed a couple of towels to mop up after use. Very close to Fuggerei and bus/tram stops and within good walking distance of the old town and other historical sights. Some shops nearby.

Die Unterkunft ist nahe dem Zentrum. Hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. War i. O. nur schade, dass es keinen Safe hatte. Einrichtung etwas veraltet, es gab auch nur ein Radio und kein TV. Sehr gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis

Familiy run hotel which is located rather conveniently. Some trouble with the internet connection which was promised to be solved for the future. Regular breakfast. Good, individual service and amenities.

Wir waren schön öfters im Hotel Jakober Hof. Es liegt sehr zentral, dafür gibt es nur wenige (kostenpflichtige) Parkplätze. Es war immer sauber und das Personal war stets freundlich. Das Hotel bietet keinen großen Luxus, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.
