“The cabin is lovely—both inside and out. The kitchen is well-equipped with just about everything you’d need, and there are plenty of blankets and heaters in every room to keep things cozy and comfortable in the fall weather. The location was ideal for our trip and felt peaceful and private. There was a hiccup with the WiFi when we arrived, which made it a bit tricky to get in touch at first. However, once Scarlet received our message, she responded with kindness and got everything resolved right...

“The hotel’s reception area was unclean, with dirty carpets and smudged windows. The hallways were unpleasant, and the elevators were also filthy. Overall, the property felt outdated, poorly maintained, and dirty. Even the room doors were grimy. Once inside the room, the condition was slightly better, but still disappointing. The bathroom was particularly disgusting—so much so that my child refused to use the bathtub. Due to these conditions, we chose to check out a night early.”

“Clinton Pond B&B was a lovely place to stay and use as a home base for biking, hiking and beach hopping. The house is beautiful, and immaculately clean. The covered deck is especially beautiful, and a great place to take your coffee, or an end of the day drink. Note: There is a shared kitchenette for guests with a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes, kettle and coffee machine. The owners, Amanda and Alex, are welcoming and helpful. “There was no breakfast (even though it was advertised) we had a jacuzzi tub room but there was hardly any soap, only stuff for the shower. Pool closed early. Furniture in the room was stained and pretty dingy. ”

“Great location, 12 minute walk to downtown. Very clean and cozy home. There is an empty bedroom, so if someone had an air mattress you could technically have three separate sleeping spaces. Would stay again any time I’m in town!”
