La casa è stata magnificamente restaurata con un mix di caratteristiche originali e materiali di alta qualità ed è in una posizione incantevole nel centro di Aumes. Aumes ha un'atmosfera tranquilla ed essere su una collina offre splendide viste sulla gariga e sui vigneti circostanti. Il giardino stabilito è protetto da vecchi muri in pietra. Il pergolato coperto ha un tavolo da pranzo di fronte a una piscina piastrellata 8 x 4 con grandi gradini delicati, perfetto per bambini o anziani. La piscina può ora essere riscaldata durante i mesi più freddi (si prega di informarsi). C'è una doccia esterna con acqua calda. Sempre sulla terrazza e nuovo per il 2018 è un comodo salotto a forma di L con cuscini, ideale per rilassarsi prima di cena o una siesta pomeridiana. Inoltre un nuovo doppio lettino con cuscini da aggiungere ai nostri lettini prendisole a cuscino singolo esistenti. La cucina di alta qualità con un ripostiglio adiacente conduce ad un comodo salotto con camino in pietra originale e stufa a legna, WiFi, TV LCD, satellite ecc. Inoltre nella proprietà è un alloggio per gli ospiti autonomo con camera da letto e una cabina doccia en-suite, patio e TV Lcd satellitare con cucina completamente attrezzata. Ideale se condividi con altre famiglie o se qualche membro desidera avere maggiore privacy.

Perfect place for a family holiday

We had a wonderful week in Aumes: the house, the location (and the weather!) was perfect for our family group. There is so much to do in the area but staying around the house and pool was the favourite activity! There is nothing that could have been improved, definitely 5 stars all round.

Lovely house that worked very well for our family group of 6 plus baby. Julie was very responsive when we had questions. The kitchen is a little tight around the table but we ate outside most nights. Pool is lovely and pretty sunny garden with beautiful jasmine everywhere. Aumes is very quiet and sadly the local shop has shut but Pezenas is sweet town with good shops and big supermarket. We loved Mèze and very easy beach for the baby - great oysters for the adults!! Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful characterful home. Excellent location within a quiet village with small store yet convenient for Pezanes and its wider facilities. Easy drive for Bezier Airport. In all best home we have rented in France over the last few years.

A pleasant stay in the Languedoc

A lovely property in a charming village. However, I wouldn’t recommend the property for young children because of the tricky stairs. The top floor is a complete no-go and quite dangerous with a gap in the handrail. When we arrived it appeared as though the property hadn’t been used for a while. It wasn’t particularly clean and the garden was a mess. We stayed for three weeks and were told a gardener would be coming but none appeared. There were unsightly weeds everywhere some of which we ended up removing ourselves. The cushions for the sunloungers were well used and quite dirty. The kitchen was well equipped but all the knives were blunt. We had to get maintenance out twice to fix the plumbing in the main house and the separate gite. We hired bikes but the roads around the village particularly in to Pézenas were busy and we ended up hardly using them. The pool was also tricky as there wasn’t much space around about it and because the garden is so overgrown it was constantly covered in leaves and insects. Overall whilst we loved the area where there is lots to see and do, sadly we were disappointed with the accommodation.

Great property & heated pool!

A great family house with lovely outdoor space and heated pool. Good location to venture into the countryside by foot or car. So much to do in the area. The hosts suggested activities were really helpful and we really enjoyed our week in this lovely property.

An Authentic French Experience

This house is set in a small French village with incredible views and a pool that is perfect for cooling down or relaxing by. The bedrooms were well presented and the dining areas were lovely areas to gather. There was also a suggestion booklet of places to visit which was well received as we had hire cars and were able to visit beautiful lakes, beaches and caves during our stay. There are many quaint streets to explore and one evening we had the joy of watching locals gather in the square while listening to a band. The local town Pezenas is definitely worth a visit with many shops and restaurants to explore in the evenings. If you're looking for an authentic French experience this is the ideal place to stay. You won't be disappointed to wake up and look out at the views.

Great family holiday in Aumes

During the whole process Julie was very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The information pack prior to arrival was great and very insightful. The house was very comfortable for 6 adults and 2 under 2s and the pool was a great 'playground' for all. The shades areas were lovely for lunches and relaxing out of the sun. The Gite was very comfortable with the kitchen/livingroom area and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The village is very pretty, it has a playground and a shop for various items incl coffee to drink in the square. There are several outing destinations within a short /reasonable drive. I would highly recommend this as a holiday home.

Brilliant house in Aumes

We stayed for two weeks over Easter. Gorgeous townhouse right on village square. Easy parking right outside. Entry via a little door in the garden wall. Enclosed courtyard with lovely big pool surrounded by planting. Super outside dining area big enough to entertain another family. House spacey and comfortable. Decor simple and stylish. Bedrooms large, beds incredibly comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with huge fridge freezer. Swimming in pool with church steeple and big plane tree in square overhead. Lots of pool toys for kids. Manager helpful and responsive. Julie provided loads of extra info that was really useful. Felt very welcomed (unlike many corporate rentals in the UK). Even had a holiday cat to delight of kids. Great area with loads to do. Village shop great for bread and croissants, big Carrefour close by in Pezenas. We had a really great time and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Wonderful time in Aumes

Great property with a swimming pool that was much appreciated by our family as the temperature was very warm- in the mid to high 30s Celsius some days. Lots of room for the family. Most had never been to France before. The Owners were very good to us and responded quickly to any questions about the property we had.

We had a wonderful week. The house is beautifully situated with plenty to do in the local area to amuse children and grand parents alike. Lovely house in charming small French village. Very nice pool and sitting area in small garden and relaxing fireplace. We will be back Très jolie maison dans petite village. Pool bien entretenu, cheminée pour le soir. Nous recommendons et vont retourner. Sehr schönes Haus in kleinem Dorf. Sehr schöner Pool geschützter kleiner Garten mit hübschen Sitzgelegenheiten. Relax in Aumes

Wir haben die Ferien sehr genossen Entspannt am Pool oder unterwegs bei Besichtigungen. Essen oder Schlendern in Pezenas empfehlenswert. Essen am Hafen von Meze auch ein Highlight. Besichtigung von Guilhem le Desert ein Muss Zum Haus: Das Haus ist sehr geräumig Alle Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Klimaanlage im Flur reicht aus um das Haus schön kühl zu belassen. Küche ist gut ausgestattet(könnte evtl mehr Besteck vorhanden sein) Kühlschrank mit Eisspender genial genauso wie die Kaffeemaschine. Einziges B-Mol ist die Beleuchtung in Küche und Wohnzimmer sowie das Sofa..das könnte mittlerweile erneuert werden. Aber rundum ein gelungener Urlaub in einem schönen Haus mit Charme in einem kleinen ruhigen Ort.. Ist nur zu empfehlen

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in France in Julies house. The pictures show very well, what the house looks like. We were not satisfied with the air conditioning. There is one on each floor and ideally there should be one in each room. We think our check in was late 5 PM, and we had to check out at 10 AM. I do not know what goes on in those 7 hours. The kitchen equipment was a bit limited - only just enough knives and glasses. All the ideas you get for what to do are very good, but they are not quite realistic. Julie is a conscious host, she always replies to your inquiries.

Amazing house

An amazing place which fully lived up to our expectations. We had an amazing week in this beautiful house in the middle of the small village of Aumes. Plenty of space and a large pool. Entspannung pur

Ein romantisches Haus mit herrlichem Pool. Obwohl die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehr rustikal ist, haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Die Lage neben der Dorfkirche ist so idyllisch und das nächste Städtchen Pezenas zauberhaft. In Aumes ist zwar gar nichts. Aber von dort aus kann man gute Ausflüge unternehmen. Mit den Gastgebern kann man auch gut kommunizieren.

Nice house on a quiet en beautifull location

Very nice property with a nice and very good equiped kitchen. Nice bedrooms with good working airco's. The garden is tiny. Actually there is mainly a pool with 2 terraces and on de side of the pool there is enough space for sunbeds. This is not really a problem especially if you think of the central location in the village, right across the church. The surroundings are very beautifull and well maintained. Most of the surroundings are occupied by vineyards with nice little roads to take a stroll. We had a wonderfull time and would like to go back some day!

Great location

The house is just how it is showed in the photographs. Set in a lovely quiet location. The pool and seating area is amazing and is where we spent most of our time at the house. It is a very comfortable house and well stocked. We love this part of France.
