“Booked and paid through Expedia. When checked in obviously had to put down security deposit. When checking out I noticed two pending charges from the hotel and just left it alone assuming they both would fall off. One did not come off. Contacted hotel to resolve and got no resolution so has to file dispute with bank. Other than that it was fine.”

“We stayed 2 nights. The room was not cleaned while we were gone but they did bring clean crappy towels that were left on the sink. The room also smelled nasty.”

“This property was great (very clean) and the kitchen in the room was wonderful. Having both a fridge and a freezer was great. Room was a great size and affordable and staff was wonderful. Breakfast was also good. Great Stay.”

“There really wasn't much to like about this hotel. It is quite literally a Motel. Which can be cool. However, the room was very dirty bugs new and old all over the room, dust webs, dirty floor, and bathroom. The door and locks were not easy to work and needed replaced. There is also limited parking. In totality the Palms is in a place where they can charge $200 for a room that should be $75 due to the area and season. The owners must know this because the rooms reflect it. Will not go back!”

“We stayed in a cottage and it was a great experience The staff was helpful and knowledgeable Food was good Beautiful sunsets on Lake Erie Plenty to do trails, bikes, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, fire pits and wineries galore, the list goes on and on We would highly recommend the area should stay a minimum of 4 nights We stayed for 5 and never ran out of different experiences”

“Very tight parking, no one at the office, no ice, and the pool was down the street at another hotel.It did have a nice ocean view and located in a great spot.”

“Pros: Clean and large room/ easy to adjust thermostat/ clean and safe elevator/ breakfast was decent/ quiet at night even with a pre-teen girl party down the hall/ bathroom was well-equipped with toiletries and hairdryer/ location is great for visiting local wineries Cons: TV did not work at first and clerk couldn't help- I had to trouble-shoot it myself, which required climbing up behind it and unplugging and plugging various components/ There was only one evening desk clerk for a full hotel”
