A beautiful former hunting lodge with spacious, authentic rooms and a garden with terraces

  • This romantic manor house, crossed by the river Authie, is close to the centre of Auxi le Château. The castle-manor dates from 1740 and contains original details such as fireplace ornaments, woodwork and stained glass windows and the impressive dining room with almost 4 metres high ceilings. The estate exudes an atmosphere of serene tranquillity and is ideal for family weekends, company outings, groups of friends, retreats, etc.
    Because it is located in the center of the city, it must be quiet at midnight in and around the house. No loud music can be heard outside after 10 p.m.
    All amenities are available in Auxi-le-Chateau; there are two supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher, two caterers, an American burger restaurant, a chip shop and two cafes.
    Various hikes and cycle paths have been set up from Auxi.
    The coast is a 45-minute drive away.
    The cities of Amiens, Abbeville and Arras are all less than an hour's drive away.

It is of course an old building much loved by the children playing hide and seek. There was everything provided that you could need to cook and eat. The rooms met our requirements which with 21 people ages from 8 to 83 was no easy task. The location in the small town was two fold easy access to shopping but the garden outside space was very large with river passing through, very private and loved by the sun worshippers! The dogs loved it. We ate every meal outside until late in the evening. Brilliant.

Très agréable séjour dans un lieu magique

Très agréable séjour dans une maison très spacieuse et pleine de charme tout comme le très très grand jardin aux multiples recoins. Propriétaires très accueillantes et très disponibles pour toute aide puisque Trudy et Jana résident sur les lieux de manière très discrète.

Très bon moment en famille

La location est grande et avec beaucoup de charme. Nous avons tous appréciés les lieux et le nombre de chambre permet à chacun d’avoir son propre espace. L’endroit est propre et la cuisine fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont sur place mais très discret et consilient.

Beau week end dans un très bel endroit

Week end entre amis pour fêter un anniversaire Nous étions 17 Belles chambres confortables et lumineuses Attention certaines chambres sont passantes c â d qu il faut passer par une chambre pour accéder à l autre avec des enfants c est parfait mais entre adultes plus difficile Heureusement Jana a mis une autre chambre à disposition un grand merci pour cela Grande cuisine spacieuse L endroit et le jardin sont très charmants petits coins pour l apéro pour bbq et grande table dehors parking facile Beau souvenir et merci à Jana
