“The location, history and charm of this hotel is extraordinary but we stayed in room 323 in the South Wing. At booking we were not given a choice as to location only the bed size. The room was fine. The view from our windows was the roof top vents for the restaurants and a giant air conditioning compressor. It was not ideal but the real problem was the 24/7 roar of the fan outside. At first we thought it was our a/c unit but later discovered when we turned our thermostat off that the roar was...
