“The room was good. Comfy bed. Clean. Breakfast average. Good parking. Check in was absolutely absurd. Arrived at 3:00 and did not get into room until 4.30!! It appears if you do not book direct you are shunted to the back of the queue and that includes Expedia They give you deals and then treat you like third class citizens. No explanations - no apologies. Absolute disgrace!”

“This was the worst place we stayed on our Scottish road trip. It was clean, however the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The 2nd bedroom was tiny, it advertised 2 x single beds but they are caravan single beds not normal size single beds. There is not even a gap to walk between them. Our daughter was so claustrophobic that she slept on the couch. There is no phone service, and although the listing says it has wifi, you need to pay extra for this and it does not reach the cabin. “Stayed 2 nights. Was better than expected in terms of the condition of the room/hotel. The room was also very clean. Swimming pool was fun for the little one. In this resort there are a number of Macdonalds hotels and we were happy with our choice as there was a direct link from the hotel to the leisure enter without leaving the building. The soft play is good too but the sitting area for parents could really benefit from a cafe, otherwise with couple of vending machines it looks rather sorry....

“easy to find close to everything. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, with lovely little additions such as milk, wine, and biscuits. The drive was gritted which helped so much as we arrived during the heavy snow in November. Great communication from start to finish and always there if anything was needed. Would highly recommend.”

“The hotel was in a good location, a bit run down and dated. Hairdryer in the room didn’t work, the window sil was loose and the sofa bed was horrific! My 2 kids had terrible sleeps both nights. I wouldn’t say it was worth the £355 we paid for 2 nights. We’d expect much better quality for that price. ”
