“We arrived in a late flight with delays and lost luggage for the first night of our stay.the staff was really nice to receive us with a smile late that night.we were offered some coffee and that was really refreshing.we had a nice large room with a clean bathroom. The staff was really helpful in assisting us with visa extensions,travelling etc.we were given advice as to how we should start the journey by the owner. “The resort was not informed about my booking and i was in trouble when i reached there & finally i had to pay there again by cash. I tried to cancel my booking but i couldn't find the cancellation option. Finally not recommend this resort and also booking through expedia”

“Noisy and horrible 3 night stay, unclean bedsheets, pillows and towels. No sheets were provided except mattress fitted sheet. Advised sheets not changed after each guest. Breakfast was included in initial booking, but had to be purchased. No tea or coffee facilities in rooms. Stay away, not upto western standards!”

“We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. “This hotel was the highlight of our trip. The property is located quite a ways from the main road, deep inside the jungle; however ‘going the extra mile’ is completely worth the experience. “Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. ”
