“Room stunk of cigarette smoke”

“Filthy room. I had to clean the bathroom floor & counters before use. We did not have to use a key to enter the room. We accidently opened the wrong door to our room & it was not locked. Upon tryng others they were the same. Unless you were in the room with the security latch thrown a yone could have access. The free breakfast was worthless. The whole place wasn't clean. ”

“Our stay overall was decent, but there are a few areas that could really be improved. It would be very helpful if guests were informed at check-in when amenities like the pool or hot tub are closed for maintenance, rather than having to find out on their own or ask. We were told the pool was heated to 84 degrees, but that was not our experience—it was extremely cold and difficult to stay in. When we asked, staff later confirmed the heater had actually been off. “Our room was very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed either in the room or provided by the staff. Breakfast was excellent- lots of choices and very fresh. We did not use the pool or hot tub during our stay. I would definitely stay again when in Douglas. ”
