“On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...

“I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere.”

“Room was very spacious and well maintained , the staff were friendly and professional, couldn’t do enough for me Really enjoyed my evening meal ( prices were very reasonable) Great traditional country pub/inn Definitely recommend a visit”

“Lovely big rooms and helpful staff. Room def in need of modernisation but big with everything you’d need. Barman particularly helpful. Lovely location and although just off main road which made it easy was extremely quiet. Would recommend”
