“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gilvenbank Hotel and would highly recommend it. There are plenty of well lit parking spaces and it is lovely and quiet. The staff are so friendly, helpful and very cheery, including the house cleaners, waitresses, receptionists and bar staff. We stayed in room 4 on the upper floor and loved it as it's very spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. Our breakfasts and meals at night were so tasty and we loved the large portions. “The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. “We stayed at the Scone Arms for one night and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was spotless, our bedroom was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even made us a lovely vegan English breakfast, which we really appreciated. We didn’t have time to explore Perth on this visit, but we’d happily stay at this hotel again when we return in the future.”

“Definitely a charming place. The park nearby is wonderful and the room furniture are old-style but nice perfectly effective. Dining in the conservatory has been really relaxing. In our room we could even find in a fm radio device with a docking to recharge our iPhones and iPods. What we didn't particularly like: the reception is sometimes unattended. Food quality isn't bad, the list on the menu is not too rich (with some good risotto available, though), but it can't be compared not a real...
