In conjunction with THERMEplus®, free admission to the Bad Bevensen iodine brine spa during your stay, you can enjoy a particularly relaxing stay in the two Auenglück holiday flats ("Ilmenau" and "Innenhof"). The well-designed non-smoking flats are located in the heart of Bad Bevensen and are each on the 2nd floor of an attractive apartment building, which is part of the historic ensemble of the extensively renovated and refurbished Von Cölln Hof. The flats are pleasantly sunny and bright. The furnishings are of high quality and tastefully coordinated.
The "Ilmenau" flat can be reached by lift and also has a balcony with a spacious view of the Ilmenau and the greenery.
From the "Innenhof" flat you have a picturesque view of the generously laid out and attractively planted inner courtyard on one side and the pedestrian zone with the Ilmenau bridge into the spa gardens on the other.
You can also benefit from reduced prices for longer stays and in the low season (November, January and February).
Excellent facilities:
The light-flooded, south-facing living areas feature a comfortable seating area with high-quality sofa sets and a cosy dining area. Entertainment is provided by a 49'' flat-screen TV with cable connection and a hi-fi system with DVD player. Internet access via WLAN is free of charge.
The kitchens are fully equipped. In addition to an oven and all the necessary kitchen utensils, there is also a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
The bedrooms, which are well darkened, each have a double bed with high-quality spring mattresses.
Large wardrobes provide ample storage space.
The bathrooms are white or light grey tiled shower rooms with ventilation systems and well-maintained sanitary facilities, some of which are as good as new.
Each flat has a covered car parking space.
The washing machine and tumble dryer can be shared for a coin.
Towels and bed linen are provided.
If required, two bicycles are available for shared use. Your own bicycles can be stored in a locked bicycle room.
Perfect location:
The idyllic riverside property of the Von Cölln Hof is nestled between the Ilmenau and Kurpark on one side and the lively town centre with its pedestrian zone, historic buildings and bustling squares on the other.
Away from the traffic, both flats offer an absolutely central yet largely quiet location.
The picturesque town centre offers a wide range of shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés right on the doorstep.
The flats are accessed via a visually protected, attractively planted inner courtyard. The residents of Von Cölln Hof have access to a spacious, beautifully ingrown green area with a bench and small natural swimming area directly on the Ilmenau.
A pedestrian bridge in the immediate vicinity leads to the spa gardens with the adjoining newly built spa centre and the iodine brine thermal baths.
The train station is on the other side of the city centre and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.

Local description : Bad Bevensen is one of the few health resorts in northern Germany and is characterised in particular by its iodine brine spring, which is fed from deep underground deposits of the prehistoric or Zechstein Sea that extended here around 258-250 million years ago. The beautiful landscape and interesting surroundings are also worthy of note: extensive forest areas invite you to go for walks, hikes and cycle tours. The Lüneburg Heath, the Göhrde, the Wendland and the UNESCO Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve as well as the many culturally significant monasteries in the surrounding area offer a wide range of attractive excursion options. And not to forget: The beautiful Hanseatic city of Lüneburg and the lively metropolis of Hamburg can be reached by car or train in no time at all, so you can easily combine your stay in Bad Bevensen with a city trip.
