“Even before we left home, the staff at taavetti was responsive and kind and helped us organise a driver who picked us up (and waited for us to sort out an issue with our bags!) at colombo airport with a sign. “The best hotel of our trip. The property is amazing, a superb colonial house surrounded by a charming tropical garden. The hotel is a few minutes walking from the beach but far from the usual tourists chaotic spot. The hotel manager and all the Staff was extremely nice and helpful. “We had a great 4 night stay at Ahu Bay. It was nice that Nilanga messaged ahead to discuss arrival time. Having a room right on the beach was a real treat and the private pool was kept spotless by the team. The team couldn’t do more for us during our stay, making adjustments to cocktails to suit ours tastes. We ate at hotel twice and both times really enjoyed the dishes we tried, it’s clear there’s a talented chef in the kitchen! ”
