Tuscany family holiday
We stayed at Vila Rosa with family and had a lovely time there. It is located in a small village near Bagni di Luca and is a great place to relax. The house has a well equipped kitchen and has a terrace with beautiful views to enjoy your meals. The Vila Rosa team is very helpful and answers any questions quickly.

Ferienhaus in wunderschöner Umgebung
Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet, inkl. allem, was in der Küche so gebraucht wird. Es ist etwas älter, aber das macht den Charme aus. Die zwei Highlights sind die Terrasse mit Ausblick in die Berge und der Pool neben Feigenbäumen. Das Ferienhaus ist etwas ab vom Schuss, durch die Serpentinen dauert es etwas, bis man an anderen Orten ist und man benötigt ein Auto. Dafür ist man mitten in der authentischen Toskana und kann gut entspannen. Insgesamt war es wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt!

Familienurlaub
Haus und Pool sehr schön. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse oder vom Obergeschoss ist wunderbar. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer war sehr freundlich. Für Personen mit Gehschwierigkeiten ist das Haus nicht geeignet. Es führt vom Parkplatz ein steiler Weg, mit groben Steinen gepflastert, zum Haus. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

A taste of paradise
Ideelt for alle sportsinteresserede: der er mulighed for SUP, rafting, klatring og alle dem der søger væk fra turiststrømmen, mindre egnet til børn < 4 år, da terrænet og stentrappen kan være lidt farligt for mindre børn. Der er dog meget langt til seværdigheder. Prisniveau lidt forhøjet ift. det lidt rustikale hus, sengene er for bløde.

Lovely house
We had a great holyday at the house. We spent 10 nights at the house, and the kids just loved the pool. There is a great view from the house, ond the surroundings are great. . There is everything you would need in the house. The small village offers a restaurant and a convienstore and not far from village on the next mountain there is a superb restaurant Called Aurora. We had a great holyday in a great house.

Maison à San Cassiano
La villa est située dans un petit village dans les montagnes, avec une belle vue depuis la terrasse (bien pour prendre le petit déjeuner). La piscine est séparée dans une zone calme juste à côté de la maison. C'est un village très reculé, il y a un petit supermarché mais nous avons préféré prendre la voiture à 15 minutes du plus grand supermarché à Bagni di Lucca. L'hospitalité de l'hôte était agréable. La maison était très propre mais le mobilier semblent un peu vétuste pour une villa de charme et pourraient être remplacés. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un agréable séjour à la Villa Rosa.

Nice stay at Villa Rosa
We stayed on short notice for one week @Villa Rosa. The villa is located in the mountains with a beautiful view from the terrace (good to enjoy breakfast and barbecue in the evening). The quiet big pool is separated in an area just next to the house. The water is refreshing and you have privacy. There are generally many mosquitoes so be prepared to bring enough repellend. It is a very remote village, there is a small supermarket (also we preferred taking the car 15 min to Bagni di Lucca larger supermarket) and one good local restaurant that can be reached by foot. The hospitality of the host was nice. We received a bottle of wine as a welcome and his mother stopped by with some delicious regional cake. The kitchen is well equipped and the barbecue grill on the terrace is working well. Some furniture seemed a bit old for a boutique villa and could be replaced. There are two very nice big bedrooms and two smaller bedrooms. By arriving the mattress in one of the smaller bedrooms was uncomfortable and sheets stained. The host helped us by sending locals to change the mattress and sheets. He even invited us to have lunch at a local restaurant. The Wifi is directional-radio-based; it is only available in the living room / kitchen. Some of us had to do home office which was not really possible due to the weak signal.  There is a public parking that are close the venue. Unfortunately one of our cars had been scratched on purpose in the last days (however this is not to be rated for the villa). The host was, even this incident is out of his responsibility, very sorry for it and brought some sweets. Overall we had a nice stay at Villa Rosa.

An excellent week at an excellent property
From the first enquiry through to departure the Villa Rosa team did everything possible to ensure we had a stress free, relaxing and fabulous stay...even to the point of booking us into the local restaurant on our day of arrival. The villa is well equipped with a lovely pool area and stunning views. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you Villa Rosa team!

Great holiday in beautiful, rustic Villa Rosa with stunning views and great pool.
I stayed in Villa Rosa for 10 days with husband and two teenagers and we had a wonderful time. The villa is well equipped and very clean and situated in the small mountain village of San Cassiano. The views over the mountains from the amazing large patio/balcony are stunning and we spent a lot of time here eating and drinking. The large parasols keep the area shaded, if you prefer. There is a bbq out here, so tried that too. The owner, Ron, was great and provided very detailed directions on how to get to the villa (needed), advice on where to shop and recommendations on what restaurants to try. He even popped around on the second day of our stay to introduce himself and gave us advice on what to see and do during our visit. Overall a great host who was always available on the phone if we had any questions. The private pool in the orchard was great and essential in the hot weather. The restaurant Villa Aurora (10 mins away by car), as recommended by Ron is a ‘must visit’, due to quality of food, service and stunning location. It is easy to get to Pisa by direct train from Bagni di Lucca. The beautiful town of Lucca is within easy reach by car and I would recommend hiring a bike once there to cycle around the city wall. Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Rosa. It is a magical place and we would recommend a visit.

Lovely location and fantastic, personal service
This was a last minute booking but we had great communication before arriving, the property and the area were lovely, especially the pool and the Villa Rosa team looked after us so well. Thank you for the cakes! We hope to return.
