Casa in fattoria biologica con piscina privata e vista mozzafiato sul fiume Douro

La casa si trova su una proprietà di 3 ettari su una collina sul fiume Douro. È una fattoria biologica con vigneti, alberi da frutto, cortile con verdure ed erbe e diverse aree del giardino. Ha anche una zona boschiva che si affaccia sul fiume Douro.

Il casale, completamente recintato, è interamente ad uso esclusivo degli affittuari durante il periodo delle vacanze.

I nostri ospiti possono raccogliere ortaggi biologici, erbe e frutta di fattoria. Alla Quinta da Vinha Nova produciamo vino verde Portinha.

La casa è stata costruita dal regista Manoel de Oliveira. Fu restaurato dagli attuali proprietari, Guilhermina e Joaquim, e arricchito con una moderna componente architettonica.

Dispone di 3 camere da letto, due bagni, ampio soggiorno con zona pranzo e soggiorno con camino, cucina e due terrazze con vista mozzafiato sul fiume Douro. Ha il riscaldamento centralizzato. Dispone di barbecue e diverse aree per mangiare all'aperto. Ha una lavanderia in una dependance della casa con bagno

Dispone di una piscina privata e una sala giochi con biliardo, dadi, freccette e vari giochi da tavolo. Ha Ping Ping all'estero.

La casa dista 1 ora e 20 minuti in treno o in auto da Oporto e 30 minuti in auto o in treno dalla Douro Vinhateiro Zone, patrimonio dell'umanità, dove viene prodotto il vino di Porto. Nella città di Régua, a 30 minuti di distanza, si può andare in barca nel Douro.

È anche a 1 ora dalla città di Guimarães, anch'essa patrimonio dell'umanità, una città storica dove è nato il Portogallo. 45 minuti è anche la bellissima città di Amarante e la città di Lamego.

Amazing rental, all around

If you are staying in the area, you must stay here. The family is so lovely, they met us to check in and to check out, to make sure we knew everything we needed about the property. Not only can you pick all the vegetables and fruits on the property, but you can fetch fresh eggs every day from the chicken coop. It was so fun for my city-kid 5 year old twin boys. The pool was great, as was the game room, my boys didn't ask about a screen once. It's in a great location to explore Douro Valley as well. This is a must-stay if you'll be in Douro Valley, I wish we would have spent more of our trip here.

Great escape!

This property was such a perfect relaxing escape for us. The grounds were beautiful with grapevines, vegetables, fruits, and stunning flowers we were able to enjoy this spring. Guillermina and her family made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly . She gave us great recommendations for shops and and restaurants. The views were breathtaking, their wine delicious and the pool was gorgeous. We feel so lucky to have spent April at Quinta da Portinha

Amazing stay

We had a fantastic stay at the property. The check-in was easy and our kids loved swimming in the pool. The adults would often find themselves sitting on the deck watching the evolution of the day with the changing colours of the valley and then the twinkling of lights.

Douro Experience

We wanted a relaxing holiday with warm weather and beautiful views. This we got for sure! We didn’t want to do too much touring so a pool was a must. Quinta da Portinha ticked all the boxes and then some. Since this property is a vineyard an organic farm we had fresh eggs each day, oranges, lemons, blueberries, raspberries, beautiful lettuce and all sorts of herbs. Other things grow in the garden but, of course, they don’t all ripen at once. We wish to thank Guilhermina, Pedro, Daniela and her husband for their hospitality and kindness.

Beautiful, well maintained

The look, directly from the heights of the river valley, down to the river or the valley mountains on the other side, was breathtaking. The house and it’s surrounding is well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay ( incl. central heating etc) You definitely need a car, as it’s kind of remote. The weather begin of May was cold and rainy, but the house has a lot of space to make even that relaxing.

Wonderful house and property with a spectacular view

The house and property was even better than advertised and the host family was so easy to work with. The kitchen and living space had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The view of the Duoro valley was spectacular and the outdoor living spaces perfect to enjoy the view andvrural life. The vineyards, vegetable garden, fruit grove, and hen house were an extra delight. While we didn't use the game rooms and beautiful pool because we were busy exploring the valley, they looked inviting and would be perfect for entertainment and relaxing. We can't offer enough positive comments on our stay at this property. It would be highly recommended for those visiting the Duouro Valley or wanting to stay a short distance outside of Porto.

Stunning position and lovely to sample some of the garden produce and eggs, and the wine of course. The local railway was useful to visit up and down the Douro Valley as a break from driving along the steep and winding roads. Our flight to Porto arrived quite late. I would recommend stopping at a supermarket on the way for provisions.

Great place to stay in the Douro Valley

This was a beautiful house with gorgeous views, a refreshing pool (although a little cold at first, but no complaints), access to fresh veggies from the garden and eggs from the chicken coop. We loved our stay at Guilhermina’s house. We were greeted at the property by her son Pedro, who provided a complete tour of the house and property before Guilhermina joined us. He showed us where everything could be found, how to use the dish washer and washing machine, and where to find fresh vegetables and eggs. They even provided a bottle of their property wine and a local loaf of bread. We took them up on several of the restaurant and winery recommendations as well. I would definitely stay here again if we ever get a chance to return to the region, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in the valley.

Belle ferme avec vue incroyable sur le Douro

Nous avons passé de très Belles vacances dans cette belle maison . Accueil exceptionnel des propriétaires qui nous ont donné toutes les informations pour passer un très beau séjour. La ferme est très agréable et fonctionnelle avec une vue à couper le souffle. Nous avons pu nous servir des légumes et fruits de la ferme ainsi que des œufs frais . La climatisation dans les chambres est un vrai plus. L’emplacement est idéal pour se rendre dans le vignoble où à Porto.Je conseille fortement cette location.

Un magnifique endroit

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve! L’endroit est paradisiaque, la vue à couper le souffle! La maison est très équipée et les hôtes d’une très grande gentillesse. Great Stay

Spacious property with the most amazing views over the Douro Valley. We enjoyed a relaxing week here after spending a few days in Porto. The villa has everything needed for a self catering holiday including a well kitted out games room & infinity pool.

Amazing place!!

Can’t say enough about our peaceful experience at this home. It is incredibly well stocked—including wonderful veggies from the organic garden. The views are magnificent. Pool is great. I have never stayed anywhere that I enjoyed as much. Also had a bottle of their homemade wine from the organic vineyard on the property. It was also wonderful.

Special Organic Farm

What a fantastic location and property in the Douro Valley. The views across the river are amazing. This is a fully functioning organic farm. We collected fresh eggs, berries and other fruit, potatoes, onions, etc. The host has done an amazing job remodeling an original rock house with a completely modernized interior. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Getaway

We loved our stay at this wonderful Quinta and wouldn't hesitate to come bac!. It has the most amazing views... Pictures do not do it justice. We were here in early April and enjoyed the start of spring with lots of beautiful flowers and delicious fresh oranges (and fresh eggs straight from the chicken coop!). The home is spacious and has lot of storage and all kinds of extras. As a family we loved playing pool and having a big telescope to view night sky was a huge hit! The pool was still quite chilly but some of us got in on a beautiful 78f sunny day. We grilled outside on the open fire most nights. It was a great base to explore the Douro Valley along with day trips to Porto and Pinhao. Our hosts Pedro and Guillermo were wonderful to work with and very responsive to any of our questions. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back some day!
