There is no full-time reception or usual hotel amenities. Neither is it a B&B, as there is no breakfast at the property. A voucher for $7 was provided for a cafe needing a 2 mile round trip; the amount just about covered a muffin and a small coffee. It feels more like managed rooms. “Very nice comfy spot, only issue I had was the cord for the little desk fan didn’t work. Great spot other than that. Little pricey but it was Memorial Day weekend. Quiet and there were no interactions with any staff due to it all being through phone it was contactless”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Castle Manor Inn. Our room was large, bright and airy, with a beautiful view. As you might expect when staying in a castle, the rooms were about bit quirky, with some unusual angles, but I found it endearing. My room was recently renovated with a modern bathroom that was beautiful and clean. Five stars! The only shortcoming I found was the lack of a hair dryer.”

“The room was spacious and nice, but the maintenance on the property leaves a lot to be desired. There was a soft spot in the kitchen floor, and a big hole in the window screen that bugs could get through, and a bad smell from some overpowering cleaning solution that was over-applied. I appreciated being able to open the windows by two inches to get fresh air- it would have been nice if I could have opened them all the way! The TV was great. “This is a very budget motel. I was only staying one night, but there was no dresser or closet or even a shelf, if I wanted to unpack anything from my bag; just two hooks on the wall over the table. The motel had a very dingy feel to it-- not dirty, per se, but dingy. Stains on the ceiling, cigarette burn in the blanket. No tissue box.
