Wonderful week at Dreamstead! This house has everything you need - well-stocked kitchen with great knives(!), comfortable beds, loads of games and puzzles, bikes, and beach gear. We love the location in Cape Fear Station, close to the Point and Mike’s Bites in the summer. We even got in a couple of rounds of golf. Hosts were incredibly gracious and communicative. Highly recommend!

Family Beach trip

We truly enjoyed this property. The space was perfect and comfortable for our family of 4. We loved the location and the proximity to East Beach. It was also nice to have bikes for all of us, beach gear and access to the creek. The weather was beautiful and allowed us to enjoy the outdoor area of the house as well.

Five Star Experience

I would not hesitate to book this beautiful home again! They thought of everything, it was clean, well stocked, the golf carts were in great shape and worked perfectly, they provided clear instructions, and the communication was excellent. The house is beautiful, and the bedroom and bathroom set up was great for us and our two married children and their spouses. The beds are very comfortable and there were lots of extra pillows. Chris was very responsive and accommodating. We arrived at 1pm, and he allowed us to drop our bags and use the golf carts until the cleaners were finished. Great VRBO experience! Thank you, Chris!

Keepers Landing

Me, my wife, and our adult children enjoyed a week in Keepers Landing on Bald Head Island. Communications were excellent and clear, and the place was very clean and comfortable. We've been going to BHI for decades, and this is the only time all of the bicycles at the house were in working shape. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing week, and the house definitely made it easy. Recommend!

Awesome House

As former 5-star VRBO owners, we are well acquainted with what it takes to have a premier property. This house has everything you could ask for and then some. The beds are comfy, the location was near our son’s house and the owners were always accessible and good communicators. We can highly recommend this rental. You’ll be happy here — guaranteed !

Perfect Stay

There's really not much to add to the other reviews, this place is special. The house is exactly as described, location is fantastic and the hosts were very helpful. We will definitely try to book again when we return to Bald Head.

Secluded, Comfortable, Quality

We recently stayed at this property with our adult children. The set up worked wonderfully for us as the crofter allows extra privacy for adults. The home is well maintained, kitchen is well stocked, nicely decorated and very comfortable for everyone! Nice touches with puzzles and games and beach toys, chairs and even a Shibumi! We loved sitting on the screened porch at night listening to the sounds of the Maritime forest! Any small issues we had were promptly resolved and the owner was super responsive. If you are looking for a secluded, comfortable place to stay on the island, Dreamstead is highly recommended.

Beautiful house with outdoor space

We had family renting another house in Keepers Landing so wanted to be nearby. This was perfect! The house works so well for its size - only two bedrooms in the main house (third in the crofter), but the living space both inside and outside was spacious and welcoming. It's a corner lot, which gives a ton of privacy and really is the best deal on this side of Keepers Landing. We spent hours on the screened porch with its very comfy couch, and had dinners at the outdoor table. We didn't use the grill but would next time. In cooler weather, we'd have also used the pretty outdoor patio. The kitchen was well stocked with oils and spices and the large fridge and washer/dryer were appreciated! Only down side was one golf cart instead of two, so we rented a second one which can be a little pricey. Still, would absolutely stay here again! Owner was very responsive, too!

Our favorite on BHI yet!!

What a GEM! This was our fifth trip in 5 years to BHI and have rented houses all across the board. For our family solo trip, this place could not be beat. It's nestled into the corner of a large cul-de-sac so the privacy is super peaceful. House is in fantastic shape, very clean and most importantly.....super comfy beds! Chris and Tonya are amazing. This is the first time that we have had such great communication with the home owner and they really care about 1.) the comfort of your stay and 2.) the condition of their property. Thanks for an amazing vacation!!

The Bowsteads’ house was perfect for our family beach week! It’s beautiful and comfortable and had everything we could possibly want or need. The fully equipped kitchen was especially nice. Chris was very responsive to all our questions, and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

My family and friends had the absolute best time at BHI this past week. We adored the house and it was perfect for 3 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids. We found that it had everything we needed for the week, very well appointed. Keepers Landing provides a nice breeze and shade after a long day on the beach and lots of nature. My kids loved fishing off the private dock. Took us about 5 to get to either East or South Beach. Close to the market as well. We will for sure be back!
