Tucked into a quiet neighborhood of just 29 cottages on peaceful lanes off the main Wynds of the island, Sandy Bottoms is perfectly situated for biking and walking—even with little ones. The home is located directly across from the community pool, making sunny swim days effortless.
Inside, the home’s newly expanded kitchen is the heart of the space, created from the former sunroom and designed for gathering. This bright, open kitchen offers ample prep space, updated appliances, and everything you need to cook comfortably while staying connected to the living and dining areas. The adjacent dining area seats eight and extends to accommodate up to ten guests, perfect for family meals and game nights.
The open-concept living room is filled with natural light and offers plenty of comfortable seating, making it an inviting spot to relax after a day at the beach. Roku TVs are provided in the living area and all bedrooms for easy entertainment.
The main level features three well-appointed bedrooms, including two primary king suites with private ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom offers a queen bed with a twin XL loft bed and has access to a nearby full bathroom.
Upstairs, the enclosed loft has been transformed into a spacious sleeping area ideal for kids, teens, or shared family accommodations. This level includes a queen bed and one twin-over-twin bunk bed, along with a private full bathroom and ample storage.
Step outside to enjoy the completely screened wraparound porch, where you can relax in the hammock, sip your morning coffee, or listen to the sounds of nature while the kids bike safely through the neighborhood.
Additional highlights include updated LVP flooring throughout in 2026, new HVAC in 2026, modern finishes, and a well-equipped kitchen featuring a coffee station for both ground coffee and K-Cups, filtered water and ice, and convenient small appliances for easy vacation meals.
Optional Lifestyle Memberships at the Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club may be purchased directly through the clubs.
The home includes one four-passenger and one six-passenger golf cart.
Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday.

The Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club operate independently from BHI Vacations, and guest memberships must be purchased directly through each club. Availability varies by home listing, and during the summer season, memberships may sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend securing your club membership as early as possible.
Additionally, the Bald Head Island ferry system is independently operated and not affiliated with BHI Vacations. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we encourage guests to book ferry and tram reservations well in advance.
