This is the perfect waterfront BHI vacation home for those who enjoy relaxing in nature and exploring this unique barrier island. Located in the Timbercreek neighborhood, this dog-friendly upper-unit condo is nestled among the live oaks along Bald Head Creek and salt marsh sanctuary. With a large screened porch you can enjoy the marsh views without worrying about the bugs. The boardwalk and dock are close by so you have easy access to the water for fishing, crabbing, kayaking and bird watching. You will also be steps away from the community salt water pool. This home also has BHI Club Lifestyle temporary membership is available. Pool, restaurants, golf and tennis are available.

*The Timbercreek community pool is seasonal and opens/closes as weather permits. Access is not guaranteed due to cleaning, construction or other maintenance*
*Bald Head Island Club Temporary House Memberships are available for purchase. The BHI Club Temporary Membership fees vary with season. Please check with the club directly for verification, as rates may change.
*Please keep in mind the BHI CLUB is now capping registration for guest memberships. If you wish to utilize the club during your stay please apply ASAP. Please visit the BHI Club website to see and review their NEW rules and fees for the coming year. Contact the club directly for questions. We do not control club rates, rules, or restrictions. No discount or refund will be provided if club membership is restricted or denied.
*Temporary Membership to the Shoals Club is not included with the rental of this home.
*Ferry tickets and parking fees are not included. Tram reservations are needed in advance. Please see BHI Ferry’s website.
*NO SMOKING or vaping allowed at this property.
*This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME: A non-refundable Pet fee of $250 will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your dog. And for 2 Dogs the Pet Fee is $350
*Maximum Occupancy: 8 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.
*Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.
*Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.
*No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.
*If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions!
*No uninvited guests without permission

Bald Head Island Info: A private island, only accessible by boat or ferry. Leave your vehicle behind and cruise the island on the golf cart provided at the home. The island is approximately 5 by 2 miles. You can bike around the island in only an hour or two! Bald Head Island is home to the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, shops, restaurants, and activities.

Lovely place!

Wonderful location! Very nice condo with amazing amenities! We loved having access to the marsh and several kayaks. This home was fully loaded for loads of beach and adventure fun supplies. Really enjoyed the screened in porch too.

Great stay, could use a couple updates

We absolutely loved our stay here. My family of four (including two little boys ages 7 and 5) and our dog. The setup of these condos is ideal, and being in the condo section that was located where the pool was for the entire complex was a great bonus we didn’t know we would use as much as we did at the end of the beach day! This unit is on the top floor which is ideal with the tall ceiling/loft and also no footsteps overhead from neighbors. The only cons were that the beds and sheets were not comfortable, the shower head in the master bathroom needs to be switched out to a regular one so it doesn’t just stream right into your face (it doesn’t fit the shower somehow), and all the furniture that you sit on both inside and outside is not comfortable. I know that sounds like a lot of things working against this place, but literally everything else is perfect, and these are all fixable things that should be addressed. We loved it! Our dog also got nervous being left alone and the property managers let us know that she was barking a lot when we were gone and were very understanding. Overall highly recommend this place!

Condo with a lot of issues

We have been renting on BHI for 17 years, so we have a lot of experience. We arrived the Friday prior to Memorial Day & stayed for two weeks. So, the busy season had not even started. Washing machine got stuck in rinse cycle the entire time we rented, and would not go into the spin cycle. This is a royal pain when you have 8 people exercising, fishing & going to the beach. Neither one of the golf carts was in full working order. One had nonfunctioning headlights so we couldn't drive it at night, & the other one broke down on day 3. They brought one replacement that wasn't any better. The bathrooms had just been remodeled. However, the entire hallway bathroom flooded every time someone took a shower bc the sliding doors were not installed properly & would not stay closed. You had to physically hold the door closed with one hand. This is unacceptable. Besides, I had to launder a lot of towels in order to keep the floor dry, which takes us back to the washing machine issue! Also, the primary bathroom shower door was not sealed or installed properly so there was a big puddle of water on the floor when you stepped out. The kitchen knives are really bad. We had to purchase some bc we cook. TV in crofter bedroom does not work. Unfortunately, the primary mattress was terrible. We chose TC bc of the dock & the pool. Mgmt team was polite, but this was completely unacceptable. We did inform them as issues arose. We will not stay in this unit again. This vacation was a lot of work

Exceeds expectations

This property is even better than the pictures portray. Its impeccably clean. The kitchen is so well stocked, beach towels, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, beach equipment, kayaks, bicycles. It was incredible, and what a gift to be able to pack light on a trip to BHI (my favorite place ever!!). I just felt like a lot of effort has been put into making sure anything a guest will need is there and we really appreciated it! Would definitely stay here again.
