“Room was fairly clean and decent. Charged $25 incidental fees and refunded all but $5 with no explanation. Also charged $10 fee 10 hours after check in. Front desk clerk did not warn me of this charge.”

“The room was very cute, with a cabin type vibe. The bathroom was small, but plenty of space to get ready in front of a mirror. We played the 9 hole golf course, which was fun and more challenging than expected- a hidden gem! The pool and hot tub were both warm and very clean, with a deck area for relaxing. “Room Number Eleven: The photo of the room did NOT match reality. The ancient berber carpet smelled like an ashtray and was full of runs and holes. It looked as if someone had punched a hole through the bathroom door with their fist, which did not make us feel safe. One of the shower walls was actually linoleum flooring that had buckled with use and the base of the shower had two thick mats that we refused to step on. “To my surprise this was the exact same cabin we stayed in a couple years ago. In fact I didn’t realize this when I booked my stay. The new log structure is really impressive we can’t wait to see the rest of the improvements. The only thing I could add is parking in front of the cabin kind of block other vehicles trying to squeeze through. I do believe in the summer we parked on the side of the cabin in the grass. Maybe you could make that a more permanent parking space and plow it in the winter...

“Hotel pool was not operational even though on line they stated it was working. When I checked in I was told I did not have a double queen room and was told I could get two separate rooms even though I am traveling with a 10 year old and 13 year old. TV was not working. Called downstairs to get help and no one came. Went down stairs 30 minutes later and then someone followed me up. Overall I wish I could get my money back. I will not be staying at a Hampton inn again.”

“From the reviews it looked like it would be a cute little place for a quick weekend away. Once we arrived we had to clean the firepit out of cardboard and other stuff. The back of the bus where the bed is does not lock so security is not a guarantee. The outdoor shower and indoor shower were both freezing cold, no hot water.
