Quick weekend getaway
We stayed here for a quick weekend away to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and it was just perfect! Clean, quiet cabin in the woods along the Pere Marquette River. Just beautiful! Lots of trails nearby and Baldwin is minutes away. Would stay here again!

Pere Marquette Retreat
Fantastic property located right on the river. The cabin is the perfect blend of rustic/charming but with all amenities you'd need. Spacious yard, great fire-pit, access to the river, and it's close to the boat launch at Gleason's landing. Just a short drive from Greet Cottage access and other launches, as well as M-37 and other parts of town. Views are great - the cabin is secluded. This is a great place to stay for either a family with 2-3 kids, or a group of 3-4 fisherman looking to enjoy the PM. Hosts were very responsive, helpful, and very easy to work with. One of the best experiences we've had with any rental booking.

Phenomenal
Wonderful stay for my wife and I. Everything outdoors we wanted. Hiking, fishing, lighthouses, Lake Michigan, grilling, and local food. Fantastic cabin and fun area.

Taking a Breather
We greatly enjoyed our stay. Just what we were looking for. Private, secluded, great view of the PM. The only sounds we heard were birds chirping and the river running. Fantastic.

Absolutely Stunning

Relaxing
We had a fun relaxing time. My husband fished the Pere Marquette from the property and thoroughly enjoyed himself. The kitchen was fully equipped and cleanliness was top notch.

Awesome Woodsy Retreat
We absolutely loved staying at this cozy cabin in the woods! The locations is fabulous if you're planning on kayaking the river since it's such a short walk down to Gleason's Landing. Also great as you can ride a quad to the trails from the cabin! The only thing I would've liked to know ahead of time is that the master bedroom does have only a full sized bed not a queen so it seemed a bit small for us as my husband is 6'2". It worked fine for a few nights, though. It wouldn't change me from staying there again, though! Great quiet place to relax and unwind!

Beautiful Cabin
The cabin was beautiful and up-kept well. Had an issue with internet and tv going out midway through due to a storm, but owners responded immediately. No air conditioning in cabin but plenty of windows to keep you cool at night. Also highly recommend waders or good hiking boots as it a steep drop to the river, but once down there the fishing is great. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Awesome Pere Marquette Experience
Myself and 2 other friends stayed while Salmon fishing the PM. Cabin and property-absolutely stunning! Clean and inviting with a river overlook second to none. We will be returning this Spring and next Fall. Owners were prompt to return messages. My only request is that if the owners every decide to sell the property, call me first!! Thanks again! Thomas H

Off the Beaten Path
This is a beautiful log cabin looking out over the Pere Marquette River. There is plenty to do for all ages who enjoy the outdoors. We took a couple of extra blow-up beds to accommodate visiting children and grandchildren - there was plenty of room for all!

Picturesque cabin on the river
My wife and I spent a long weekend in the cabin for her birthday and we couldn’t have imagined a more serene and beautiful environment. The cabin is picturesque, well appointed and spotless. It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. Looking forward to visiting again!

50th Birthday Family fishing Trip
My family arranged a fishing trip to Baldwin as a 50th birthday gift. Enjoyed the welcome gift, s’mores by the fire pit, the amazing view, wildlife from fish to Eagles, and the solitude of this cozy cabin. Enjoyed catching numerous fish during the day (thanks Indigo guide service) and relaxing in the evenings. Can’t wait to have a chance to stay at this wonderful cabin again.

Beautiful
We tend to like to be more secluded and the neighbors were hardly there. We were picturing more privacy but it was fine. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. The beds in the loft are a little small but my husband is a big guy. Everything was very clean with everything we could need. The owners answered questions quickly! We had a great time!

WOW
I stayed with my wife and our 2 young boys (6 & 2 months). I picked this cabin because it was in a good spot for me to look for salmon and it looked nice for my wife to enjoy while I was gone. The Place is absolutely gorgeous. Stayed in early September and we had wood ducks flying the river and could see salmon swimming to spawn while standing on the porch. Most other Fisherman in the area were targeting brown trout, So expect a short drive or walk if going for salmon. (yes there are places to walk in for salmon less than a half mile). I dont think I stopped mentioning how beautiful this cabin was. We will 100% be back.

Everything we expected

DREAM CABIN
The property are exactly as pictured - the only (pleasant) surprises were how many thoughtful touches there were, like Seventh Generation brand items. Owners made everything very easy; clear instructions for everything, and plenty of amenities. The cabin itself is well-appointed and beautifully done; decor is just the right touch of cabin chic. Beds are comfy, seating is abundant, and views are stunning. Be sure to read the description carefully so that you get all of the details. Our small family: My husband, our 19 year old daughter and I enjoyed taking day trips to my favorite places, and also were able to stay connected to work/school through wifi. Bare bones cable and nearby golf kept my husband happy, and the property had plenty to explore. A great little get away - there might be places available at a lower price, but remember; you get what you pay for.

Great Place to Getaway!
Beautiful property - great space inside and out. Provided our family a much needed, safe getaway, accommodations were exactly what we needed. We did a lot of relaxing, took a couple hikes and a canoe trip. Spent an afternoon in close-by Ludington to splash around Lake Michigan. Hosts were fantastic, very responsive. Check in was super easy. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others!

Perfect for Social Distancing
What a gorgeous cabin, better then the pictures. Smelling the white pines every morning and watching the sunsets with a glass of wine made for an ideal vacation. The Kitchen was super clean and well stocked with plenty of dishes, cutlery and utensils. Beds/bedding comfortable, views in every direction, bathrooms lovely. Enjoyed taking kids to Gleasons landing just down the road to swim/play in the river. Owners were easy to work with! Highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Relaxing Getaway
Beautiful cabin! Cabin was very clean, spacious and provided everything we needed for the four of us. Enjoyed relaxing overlooking the river. Was looking for a private getaway for our family and this was perfect. Enjoyed a kayak trip on the river as well. Would stay again and hopefully will have an opportunity to go back.

Cabin rental
