Chalet a Balfour

“Great stay, we would stay there again. Hot tub was broken but they gave a credit towards our next booking.”

“Loved the location”

“We had a kitchenette with 2 beds it was very doable.”

“Probably the smallest room that I have ever booked. Very little parking. Night clerk watched me circle the parking lot then watched as I Iparked in an odd place. Next morning front desk wants my car moved. Apparently there was more parking in the back. Not posted anywhere.”

“Loved age of the building and ambience. Booking a private room was very nice. The only difficulty was the shower head too high and spraying every direction. I enjoyed talking with the staff member on duty.”

“The very delightful and helpful staff were a pleasure to deal with. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Hope to stay again.”

“Lovely place, quiet and pleasant”

“I would highly recommend everyone to spend a night here. Its so beautiful and stunning lake views.”

“Great place to stay. Everything close by. Room was clean. Beds were a bit soft and they said that the beds were to be replace by next yesr.”

“Its a beautiful well taken care of hotel.”

“Totally enjoyed our stay, enjoyed the community, and local beach and boat launch.”

“Host is very responsive and communicative. The place is as advertised, very spacious, clean, good wifi. Quiet neighbourhood, only 6 min drive to city centre, and 5 min walk to the rail trail for great walking and views of city. Hubby and I loved staying here.”

“The property was clean , quiet and easy to locate.”

“The property is super clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with different cooking appliances. In addition to oil, salt and pepper, the host even put in small jars of different spices for cooking. The host gave very clear and precise instructions on everything, including directions, how to use each appliances, how to turn on lights, tv, lock and unlock the door….I didn’t need to message her at all! The living room, the bedroom, and the patio all facing the valley, and the trees on the mountains...

“I enjoyed my stay at this property. So nice that it's pet friendly. Loved relaxing on the porch. It's great for star gazing. Coming from Vancouver, it was really a treat to see so many stars. Bed was super comfortable. Loved the log cabin decor.”

“The unit is beautiful and clean, but in the back of the building. You can not see out the windows as they have a coating on them. We did not like this. The air exchanger is in the bedroom closet, so you hear it all night long. The host was very responsive to my questions.”
