Hi David, thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are disappointed that you found so many faults with the property, but we feel it is important to reply to a couple of important points.We have received the Traveler's Choice award every year since 2012, including this year (2023), indicating that most of our guests enjoy their time with us. We do not recommend our guests drink the water as it comes directly from a natural spring (which is why we supply drinking water in the rooms and in the restaurant) but it is absolutely safe for brushing your teeth, bathing, etc. We appreciate the rest of your feedback so we can continue to improve the property and the level of service we provide.

Hello Pauline,Thank you for your review and for bringing those issues to our attention. We apologize and will work very hard on correcting those points. I would like to point out that you stayed with us during rainy season (and paid a deeply discounted low season price) and even with weekly pool cleaning and maintenance, the rain can affect the appearance of the water in the pool. By no means is it dirty, it's just a temporary chemical imbalance. We are a small hotel and we apologize that your wait was longer than usual for breakfast, but you arrived when seven other guests were before you.The staff was aware of your 23 credit from Expedia, and it would have been applied to your bill, but you did not consume anything in the restaurant apart from the free breakfast. There is no physical "voucher", so you may want to check the terms of the VIP program.We are happy that you at least enjoyed the views and the balcony. Now for the facts: you made a reservation for three people, but showed up with four and became angry when I told you that we would have to charge for the extra person (something that all hotels do), and asked me what exactly the extra charge was for. I explained that the 25 goes towards breakfast, electricity, water, laundry, etc. You then wanted a third bed in the room, which is something we do not offer, but we agreed that you could put your own blow up mattress in the room as long as it fit. Perhaps you weren't pleased with the answers, but at no time were we unkind in any way.
