“Fantastic room & excellent breakfast”

“Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The whole property was spotless, the facilities were beautiful, the room was probably the nicest one we have ever stopped in, furnished to an extremely high standard and so comfortable. Honestly, don’t even think about looking for somewhere else in the area…you will not find better!! Oh yes, the homemade marmalade at breakfast is to die for too!!!”

“My daughter and I stayed the night before a baton competition. Breakfast was nice and early, served efficiently and very tasty. But the room was absolutely amazing. It felt more of a suit than a room. The bed was huge and comfy and we watched a movie on the sofa. Overall I would stay again. I got an excellent deal but the full price is very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. ”

“The hotel is in a lovely setting and the main house looks very charming. I had booked into the annexe into one of the express rooms. I arrived at 11 at night at Prestwick airport so was using the hotel as a stopping off location. The rooms are very basic and a little old fashioned, but clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. I had breakfast in the main part of the hotel which was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend the hotel.”

“Breakfast service was excellent although the choice of continental is very limited and poorer quality products. The room was clean but very much in need of updating. The mechanical ventilation system makes the bathroom really quite cold and the towel rail was on fully. Love the hotel and staff and always a great vibe so none of this would put me off staying again but I’d love to see the rooms modernised.
