Hotel a Ban Bang Pho

“The photos are deceiving, it is a truck stop. It was going to be okay but after getting food from the 7/11 there was a swarm of ants carrying a larger bug towards the patio door. Definitely felt it confirmed the state of the hostel. The price reflected the quality so can't complain too much, just wish the photos illustrated the rooms/building more authentically. The staff was kind and helpful, though the lady helping us seemed confused by our booking and initially asked us to pay when we had...

“Spacious clean room with 2 king beds, cold air-conditioning, decent shower 5 minutes from airport, 6 minute cab to great Thai restaurant (near KFC). We were given early check-in at 11 am at no extra charge , 2 free bottles of water”

“Had an overnight stay at hotel due to early flight the next morning. The hotel is situated on what appears to be a backroad rural residential area although its minutes for the airport. Check-in was ok but it was obvious the hotel was empty and that they may have not been expecting my arrival. Once checked in, I was taken to my room which was nice to look at but you could tell it has not been used in a while, the towels were stiff, and bed linens needed to be tossed, the loft style room provided...

“Individual chalets with adjacent car port, suggesting this is more motel than hotel. Certainly not a 'resort'. Close to the airport but miles from anything else, just getting food delivered can be challenging. I'm sure the bed used to be a concrete tunnel support, the hardest mattress I've ever not been able to sleep on. Reception staff excellent, as is usual in Thailand.”
