The staff are warmest, from Reception to Restaurant to Housekeeping.
Not much nearby, so lock yourself in for a few days of chill or day trips in PhangNga.

“The hotel was really good. The location is excellent! it's very quiet, and also has a couple (literally a couple) of restaurants in the beach so you can eat at the hotel, and also venture around for something different.
The breakfast was really nice, very good Asian options besides the usual buffet breakfast.
Staff were very nice and helpful.

“Very quiet hotel on a beach that they keep clean. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very nice and attentive. We had a few meals at the restaurant which seemed 50/50. The room service wasn't worth it as it arrived cold and old both times even though the kitchen is 50’ away and we were one of a handful of guests. No excuse. Chose not to eat at the restaurant after trying one last chance…papaya salad…not good. except for breakfast which was decent.
The pool is nice but its a club I guess and so...

“hotel di lusso ma adatto solo alle famiglie e a chi piace rilassarsi dormendo tutto il giorno . una bella struttura ma situata a circa 1 ora di taxi dalla prima forma di vita . assolutamente sconsigliato a giovani ragazzi o uomini soli che vogliono vivere il vero spirito della thailandia . vi consiglio un 3-4 stelle a patong beach , credetemi ne vale la pena , quando sarete li capirete il perchè.”

Filthy, mould on all walls. No duvet covers.
Pool green and stagnant. Was stuck there for the night and quite frankly couldn't sleep and didn't want to use sink with mould in it in morning.

“This was the only bad experience in this wonderful country, that is Thailand.
I arrive at 14.30 at the hotel, i booked specifically this one for Splash (water park) , the problem was that from 15.30 to 17.15 i was waiting my luggage in the room. I call them several times, to have it in time to go to splash for mi kids.
Result: splash closed at 17.30, and my kids crying realized that they could not have access. They also stopped my room telephone to avoid my complains. Another particular to say...

“A little apprehensive when we first approached and checked in. But that soon went away when we went into our mini apartment. It was great and in fantastic condition. We stayed in the Viva property which im guessing was quite new.
Staff were super friendly.

“Non lo suggerirei in quanto pur vicinissimo all'aeroporto (con un giro in bicicletta sei in pratica sulla pista) per arrivarci in auto
Comunque circa 25 min di taxi (con app grab taxi risparmiate il 50%) non ha nulla intorno quindi ristorante ottimo ma più caro.
Quello che si risparmia in pratica lo si spende li, comunque buono”

Crab per gli spostamenti funziona bene ed é rapidissimo con area di sosta in prossimitá dell'hotel. Si può usufruire anche di un servizio di biciclette utile per muoversi nei dintorni ed andare, per esempio, al punto di atterraggio degli aerei che sfiorano la spiaggia. La spiaggia, contrariamente a quanto scritto in qualche recensione si trova lì, basta attraversare la strada."
