“We had a very late check in time, supposedly for cleaning, of which there was very little. Tried to contact caretaker for a vacuum cleaner but had no response. Cleaned as best we could to make it liveable. Drains were all blocked. Contacted Holiday Travel (managers) who were helpful and organised a plumber very quickly. They were also apologetic for state of the place and offered some remuneration. Our experience was further disappointed by nearby patrons on the same property fighting,...

“For the substantial price, very limited amenities and in average condition. No soap left in dispenser. Lighting didn’t work properly. No chairs at all in the room. Damaged furniture and some parts of room not very clean. Very lovely staff member however.”

“We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. Gale , the receptionist, went into action immediately to...
