  • Questo delizioso condominio si trova vicino alla cima di Sugar Mountain con una vista mozzafiato sulla Blue Ridge. Spazioso e arredato in modo accogliente, questo appartamento è perfetto per una vacanza speciale. Un letto king size e un divano letto king size possono ospitare fino a 4 persone in totale. Questa unità dispone di soffitti a volta, una grande vasca idromassaggio, WiFi, Ethernet sicura e una lavatrice e asciugatrice (che si trova nell'armadio delle scale proprio fuori dall'entrata dell'unità). La cucina è completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici moderni di alta qualità. Nelle notti fredde puoi riscaldarti vicino al caminetto a gas e goderti la TV o un bel libro. Rilassati in questo posto tranquillo sulla montagna a pochi minuti da tennis, golf e sci. Non fumatore. Assolutamente No Animali da dicembre a marzo. Pet-friendly può essere disponibile stagionalmente per i cani. Si prega di riconoscere che vi è una tassa di $ 100 per animale domestico (per animale domestico).

Great top of the mountain stay

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Top floor with fantastic views. Got lucky and had quite a bit of snow! If it's snowing/icy be sure to follow the guidelines of 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Was a bit challenging with front wheel drive only on the icy roads but we made it! Highly recommend

Great winter weekend getaway!

Wonderfully updated condo with great views! We skied once and used the shuttle which was great because it was a busy holiday weekend and the parking lots were overflowing. Just call to be sure you know where the pick up is. This is a really great space to enjoy time in, time on the slopes, and close to town to go out for a nice meal! Absolutely no complaints with this stay!

Great getaway with a view!

Plenty of space for a couple retreat. Great view of Beech Mountain and Banner Elk in the valley. Very quiet surprisingly seeing that it isn’t really far off the beaten path. The ski slopes were closed for season when we went so maybe it gets a little more lively when they’re open. All in all this place was great and we will return.

NY Stay and Family Ski Trip

The views from the property are as advertised- just gorgeous. Windows all across the back and side of dining area just make the unit. Very quiet complex you are on the top floor on the end. Great location to slopes…2 minute car ride to the base. Kitchen update is nice. Bathroom is very dated and jacuzzi tub wasn’t really working but… that being said we had an awesome trip. Worked for a family of 4 (but our kids are still tweens)…next trip would probably need something bigger.

The only feedback I have is that the bathtub water wasn't working and when we called the number provided, they told us this can’t be fixed currently and we will get some refund or discount for our stay. But I haven’t heard back yet. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back.

Fixed by property management by replacing heating elements & the thermostat.-Cable had no sound the first night. Fixed by cable technician by resetting cable box.-No hair dryer.-No condiments or spices except salt & pepper. Expected sugar and creamer plus basic spices.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great views from the living room and kitchen overlooking the valley and the mountains in the background. Nice deck porch we got to use between the little bit of snow that fell. The place was easy to get to even though it was on top of the mountain. There is a warning in the winter months to bring snow chains or a four wheel drive, but we were lucky and didn't need them. Management was very nice and helped us to locate the property with maps suggestions. Got to to a little tubing and zip lining while we were there, and had a great time. Would recommend it for anyone looking for unobstructive mountain views.

Great location - beautiful views

The view from this unit is beyond beautiful. We loved watching the sun come up everyday as we drank our coffee by the fire. The location is very convenient. It’s very close to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and several very good restaurants. Parts of the unit have been updated - the kitchen is beautiful and very nice. I thought the entire unit was beautifully decorated. The bathroom hasn’t been renovated yet and the shower is old. My kids were a little disappointed that they couldn’t use the tub - it was functional but there wasn’t enough hot water to even halfway fill the tub. The couch pulled out into a bed - the mattress on it was fine for my kids but I don’t think adults would find it very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the unit due to the close proximity to the ski resort and breathtaking views.

However the unit was very dates except for kitchen and floors. Shower was tiny and was peeling. Did not provide shampoo, conditioner or tissues. Little amenities go along way. No spices such as salt and pepper. Have always had these in airbnb stays. Fireplace was cracked and floors very slanted. Husband didn’t feel safe there. Dead flies everywhere

Long weekend trip

Reviewer Comments: When we thought we had arrived to our condo we were glad we did get there after hours, the text message we received with the address sent us to another building , and the actual address of the condo wasn’t listed on anything I received via email or text. So once we found the correct building and condo we were happy. We went in the find on the recessed lighting fixtures hanging from the ceiling, we notified them right away about this as we didn’t want to pay for the repair. The condo was generally clean, we did find trash left behind sitting on the side table and socks underneath the furniture. This condo highlighted the tub in the photos as well as the description, the hot water didn’t work. We notified the maintenance department and they offered to send someone out that evening to check but we asked to wait until morning. The guy came, the breaker was tripped he flipped it back said give it a while and try it, we tried it again that evening after we got back in-still freezing cold. I messaged again (Sunday) no response, we checked out the following day. The company did reach out Monday after I messaged that we had checked out and asked for a reply. They did offer 10% discount/refund, which we appreciated but would have preferred the working tub as shown. I felt the description of the kitchen could have been a little better so hopefully I can help others have insight with this review. What you see in the photos is what you get, there are common used utensils, but no keurig coffee maker, no condiments etc so bring your own/buy them. Overall we had a good trip.

Condo and furniture was nice and in good condition. Mattress on been was thin and bumpy. Sheets not appealing, cheap toilet paper, no shampoo, no tissues, 1/2 roll of cheap paper towels, nothing to clean dishes with, Salt and Pepper is the only thing in ktchen so if you want to cook bring everything.

The sleeper sofa and chase lounge were collapsed making them very difficult and uncomfortable to sit on.The bathroom had dirt and hard on the floor and soap residue on the tile around the tub. We had to wait to check in due to drain issues. When we were allowed into the unit first impression was excellent. Then more drain issues and a very condescending representative who said that the three drains being clogged was not an emergency and we should call back in the morning. After speaking with the owner the next morning, a service man arrived, walked in the tub with his boots on, poured a drain cleaner in the tub, bathroom sink and hall sink as he explained that we must be used to fast drains. 4 hours for a tub to drain 1 1/2 inch of water was okay because we were on top of the mountain. After he left there was very little change.We poured 6 kettles of boiling water to get the bathroom sink to drain and the same for the bath tub. The hot water would barely last long enough to take a shower, could not get enough hot water to use of the jacuzzi.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great for skiers due to the proximity to Sugar Mountain (less then 5 minutes away). It's on the top of it's mountain, top floor, with amazing views.Unit was "clean", but far from spotless you could see dirt on the edges of the windows. The bed needs to be replaced on this unit. It was too soft for us and the way the apartments floor is not leveled it made me almost fall out of it while sleeping.I'd stay again if the Bed and Pillows we're updated and management ensured better cleaning.

Beautiful View and Unit

We rented this unit over labor day weekend. Arrived checked in and it was as nice as advertised but No air conditioning ( which we probably should have checked for) so we ended up not staying. Would be a wonderful winter destination

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sugar Mountain Resort over the weekend. We checked in late due to travel restrictions, and it took us almost 3 hours to find our cabin and get settled in. The instructions in the packet for late arrival didn’t really give the best instructions. It would have been a better experience if someone at the office set our expectations that the office is not located on the resort and that finding the cabin would be like finding Carmen Sandiego. However, once we got settled the condo was nice and clean. It took a while for us to figure out how to get the entire place warm but we got there. We loved how the resort had the activities but didn’t find out until later there was a shuttle who could have picked us up to avoid driving. It was super crowded so parking was a mess. We went snow tubing for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. The lines were long and not organized but we got through it. Overall nice location with friendly people.
