The space
Private home on 20 acre hikers Paradise. Up the gravel drive you arrive at the cabin with private parking. WiFi throughout. Mom/pop place not corporation owned like many others. We built this place in 03 & Helene didn’t completely destroy her so she’s back finally for 2026 ... Copper Frog Cabin 158. Old school hospitality with the convenience of a hotel. We come from a large family & welcome large groups, families & sports teams! (Sept-Jan hunters please message host prior to booking)

You can enter through the double glass doors on the porch into the great room. A beautiful forest mural as well as flatscreen TV! Also comfortable big sectional to bring the feel of home! You can access the upstairs and the other porch off of the living room. Some card & board games , toys , art stuff & books are onsite. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of gadgets, including a large stand mixer.Stove/oven as well has microwave & industrial toaster oven! There is a table with seating for six as well. Coffee/tea/coco bar for your enjoyment! Theres probably snacks too

Down the hallway, you will find a full bathroom with laundry as well as two bedrooms.The Nest Thermostat can be found on the right hand side of the hallway just past the hot water heater closet.

Bathroom has full tub shower combo for all your families needs. You can also find a fully stocked linen closet. Forget something ? that’s OK. Check the vanity. We have a selection of toiletries, hygiene, and feminine products there for just in case you left something behind. We also have shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash available for your use because airports are too picky 3 ounces is not going to last anyone! Hair dryer & curler , can’t fit on the plane …… yep we got you!

Bedroom one is directly across the hall from the bathroom. It has full/full bunk & a full size bed as well as flatscreen TV. New furniture , pillows and linens etc for your comfort. One full has Comfomind installed.

Extra blankets in the closet tote! The fuse box can also be found in this room behind the door. Please do not access the fuse box unless it’s needed in emergency.

Bedroom two at the end of the hall is smaller. It hosts 2 bunk bed sets. All four beds are twin size in this room. Also all new linens for your comfort. Another flat screen can be found on the wall. (One top twin has Comfomind installed & a small smart tv hiding on the wall inside )

Up the stairs , you will find the third& last bedroom… a big bedroom with its own private bathroom. This room hosts two queen size beds as well as a giant closet

A second giant “convenience closet” hosts items you may need during your stay... baby stuff , elderly/disability care items including shower chair, washable bed pads & other convenience items. EXTENSIVE FIRST AID KIT IN CLOSET

Bathroom 2 is a full bathroom with a full tub shower combo.Vanity is also stocked with toiletries, hygiene, feminine products in case you forgot yours. You’ll also find shampoo, conditioner,or body wash etc upstairs just like downstairs. Adults pay for to much already…time to enjoy something free


Walker , cane , wheel chair , potty chair available just let us know an we can have them waiting inside (some of these can be found in upstairs convenience closet already.)
Please note we have several Comfomind Canopies installed. These are thoughtfully designed not only for some privacy but also creates a private, darkened space for ultimate relaxation or sleep—whether it’s day or night with curtains. We have found that these are very much loved by our families especially those with loved ones on the spectrum or sleeping issues. Absolutely anything your group needs please don’t hesitate to ask!

Future plans include built trails, stables , and other amenities.Maybe one day a pony or 2! We would love to host you with us yearly so you can enjoy the journey with us while building memories with your loved ones! Pets are welcome with $100 per pet fee up to 3. No cats allowed please message with pet info before booking. Must be current on review vaccine & yearly booster.

Smoking/vaping/420 allowed outside only! Please dispose of properly in metal bin or ashtrays! Inside smoking/vaping will result in a $400 cleaning fee!

Bears are on a diet, please don’t leave trash outside!. Enjoy the property & nature at your own risk. We have a ton of wildlife! Have fun & live life!!

Guest access
We come from a large family & embrace our large groups & sports teams! Guests will have the entire 2 story cabin to themselves.Cabin has front & rear porches as well as a fire pit . 3beds & 2 baths are all yours! 20 acres you can explore at your own risk. We have sleds as well to enjoy the steep rear of property & water fun in the summer. (Blow up houses& water slides available to rent for the kiddos. ) We are local mom&pop place not one of the corporate owned houses. True hospitality & we are here to make sure your stay is amazing!

Other things to note
Winter 4WD is a must for the safety of everyone on the roads! Do NOT attempt to drive 2WD in the winter months when snow is on the ground. Check the weather channel app! October - March, we highly recommend AWD / 4WD & coming with tire chains that you know how to use in advance. Weather changes fast on the mountain and can be unpredictable in the winter. We are not responsible for issues due to improper vehicle choice in the winter please use awd/4wd & know how to use tire chains.

We also offer pickup/drop off to both Asheville & Charlotte airports for additional charge on most occasions. Kiddos need some bounce house fun we have 2 that can be rented if available . Bachelorette, baby shower, proposal, surprise …… we are here to help you make it special! Hospitality whenever needed.
