The listing was just as described. The host was extremely responsive and kind. We were breaking a car trip at the condo and were planning on doing laundry there. I asked the host about laundry detergent, explaining our situation, and she left us extra. Great stay!

Perfect location for our girls trip. It was exactly as described. Place was very clean. Easy check in process. Host very responsive with communication. Breathtaking views. LOVED all the windows in the living room that overlooked downtown Banner Elk. We felt very safe and comfortable. We didn’t find it walkable as described due to hilly roads. Overall this was an excellent place and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Aug 2025. We left after one night due to safety issues observed on arrival. The floors were buckled and uneven with a measured 4–5 slope, which made walking feel unstable; the bathroom door would not close and the bathtub dipped and squeaked when stepped in. The unit only provided a consumer aerosol “fire spray,” not a UL-rated fire extinguisher. The listing also describes the place as “walking distance to town” but the town is at the bottom of a steep hill and is not accessible for many older or mobility-limited guests. We reported these issues to VRBO during our stay. Future guests should confirm repairs and proper safety equipment before booking.
Only a consumer aerosol fire spray provided, not a UL-rated portable extinguisher.

Beautiful home

This was a clean beautiful home nestled in the mountain the hostess provided everything and more for a comfortable stay including a basket of treats to welcome us and one in each bathroom of things necessary but sometimes forgotten . Lillian was easy to communicate with and quick to respond highly recommend staying in this beautiful condo

Wonderful, quiet 5-star condo with very thoughtful responsive host

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely, quiet 5-star condo very convenient to the local area. Host was welcoming, very responsive via email or text message. Very easy check-in process to access the condo. Condo was very clean, spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen with many thoughtful touches. Host had a wonderful small supply of treats (tea, Keurig K-cups, instant oatmeal, popcorn, mints) to enjoy. Beds were clean and comfortable with linens in very good shape. Wi-fi worked well with more than adequate bandwidth for a party of three using multiple laptops and tablets. Website photos are representative of the condo. Host provided a very helpful guest book of local dining options, points of interest, etc. We ate in at several restaurants in the downtown area that were excellent: good food, good value for money and very pleasant outdoor atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend here. Great location, lots of things within walking distance or short drive and beautiful surroundings. The property itself felt cozy and right at home and had everything we needed. Definitely will visit again!

Perfect Location in Banner Elk

My husband and I came to Banner Elk with friends for a trip to the mountains and wineries. This location was a perfect base as we were near Grandfather Mountain, Boone, NC State Parks and wineries! Main St. Banner Elk was a very short walk - loved walking to town for a stroll on the Greenway and ice cream. Condo was lovely - enough room for our group and kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we ate in on some nights. When we visit, we'll definitely stay here!
