You are the first guest that we have ever relocated due to overbooking It was a simple oversight. New Years eve is the busiest night of the year in a busy tourist town. I regret your room was double sold. The room I found for you is in the same category hotel as our hotel and for you to find that it was dirty and with no clean water is even more regrettable. I trust the owners of the other hostel but it seems you were dissatisfied anyway. I also regret that you didn't approach me during your stay when I could have done something more to compensate you for the inconvenience. I hope that publishing your comments on this site has afforded you the satisfaction that you were unable to receive from La Posada del Arte on this occasion.

Hi Darah, thanks for the review and your kind words. It was great meeting you and having you with us in Banos. I have now removed the advertisement about Air conditioning. Thanks for mentioning it. The street is not usually noisy, this neighborhood is normally very quiet, its the season for christmas parties and merry making and I am afraid that what you are referring to about the street noise was that of the revellers.

Hi Maria, thanks for your review and the comments. I remember our conversation and your suggestion about providing guests with water. As I think I said at the time, we provide cool filtered water free for all guests, they like to fill up their own containers and it's constantly available. Its one of our environmental goals to reduce the number of plastic bottles so we don't put individual bottles in the rooms, We have bottled water on sale (and sodas) and they're all in glass bottles which are collected by the supplier and re-used. The same goes for the soap and other bathroom consumables. Thanks again for the review, hope to see you again soon.
