Sii accogliente come un insetto in questa accogliente casa situata nell'alveare di attività che si trova nel centro di Bar Harbor. La casa Honeybee è stata costruita negli anni '20 in un cul de sac residenziale tutto l'anno ed è stata completamente rinnovata nel 2007 aprendo la pianta del piano inferiore a uno stile familiare più funzionale e moderno. Nel 2013 abbiamo aggiornato la casa con nuovi mobili, nuove lenzuola e colori freschi.

Questa casa del centro completamente rinnovata offre una posizione eccezionale nel cuore di Bar Harbor, a pochi passi da tutti i ristoranti, negozi, supermercati e servizi del centro, incluso il principale snodo del sistema di autobus gratuito dell'isola che consente una vacanza senza auto. Cammina fino al negozio di biciclette locale per noleggiare biciclette e guidare direttamente nel Parco nazionale di Acadia. Prepara un pranzo e cammina dritto fino al molo da dove parte la tua barca per l'escursione con l'osservazione delle balene. Prendi i bambini e cammina in centro per un gelato. O goditi quella cena speciale con la famiglia e gli amici senza il fastidio di spremere tutti in una macchina e trovare un parcheggio.

Great location! Walking distance to all the fun downtown!

This house is in a perfect location right behind the grocery store and a two minute walk to downtown. We had issues with the TV but the owners were close by and came and worked on the TV remote for us.

Perfect location

Perfect spot! Great location- short walk to grocery store and all the quaint Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Acadia is just a quick drive away, too. We were very happy with our stay and will return for sure

Charming house in a perfect location

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house was even more charming than it looked in the pictures. There were oodles of clean fluffy towels, a very well stocked kitchen (spices, dishes, pots and pans, etc) and we were right in the middle of Bar Harbor. And Jen, the owner, was very helpful and proactive on communications. A great stay!

Family Stay at the HoneyBee

Perfect location for our family vacation in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to everything but on a nice quiet street. House had everything you could need and the softest towels!

Nice House, great location.

Loved the location. Easy to walk the town from house. Parking spot is nice to have. Very cute house. Bathrooms clean. Communication with owner very easy. Definitely recommend for a getaway.

Great place!

Honey Bee house was a great place to stay! The house was clean and comfortable and conveniently located. We walked downtown every day and shopped for groceries at the supermarket at right behind the neighborhood. Jen was wonderful about checking in before and during our stay. I would definitely stay at Honey Bee House again!

Hidden gem in the heart of Bar Harbor

This was truly a great place to stay for our family vacation. Plenty of room for 6 adults to hang out and chill. Super close to a grocery store and in literal walking distance to the wonderful shops and restaurants Bar Harbor has to offer. East check in and check out and Jennifer was super responsive. Always checking in to make sure we had what we needed. Will definitely look for this spot on our next trip to Bar Harbor. Thank you for sharing your home with us! The Hazard/Gonzalez/Johnson families

Great location in Bar Harbor, comfortable

Loved that we could stay parked at the house and walk to the Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. Very short drive to Acadia National Park. The beds were very comfortable; fluffy towels; well-stacked kitchen (not that we cooked much). One note we left to the hosts was it may be helpful to include a small ice chest for guests to use to bring lunches into the park if interested.

Location

Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards.

Could be improved for the price

The location was nice. Close to grocery and walk to town. Neighbors across the street were very nice The couches may have been replaced since last year and hope they were as they need to be. Sank into a hole / sat very low and weren’t comfortable. Had to go to Walmart to buy a fry pan as the pans there are old and dented up, rusty and looked gross and didn’t want to use them. The clam steamer pot only had one handle. Washer and dryer were down a narrow flight of old steps in the basement. Not HE but worked. I asked so I could bring correct detergent, if they were HE and Jen “couldn’t remember” if they were or weren’t. Just disappointing overall for what it cost to rent. Was not cleaned up outside - weeds galore. Sun porch faced the sun all day so was extremely hot and couldn’t enjoy being out there during the day. The top bunk bed was not made up, which was one if the reasons we stayed there, so my daughter and grandaughter could share the room but have separate large beds. Jen said I should have contacted her, but why wouldn’t it just have been made up? Again, just didn’t live up to the expectations of what was advertised versus what was there.

Bar Harbor- Acadia National Park

We are a family of 6 adults coming in to visit, hike, and experience Bar Harbor for the first time. The house accommodated us quite well. The location was great as we could walk to everything downtown.

Convenient Location

The Honeybee House is in a quiet neighborhood tucked behind all of the downtown and waterfront activity. Easily walk to The Reading Room for dinner (fabulous!), do some shopping or spend time in Acadia National Park. House was very clean with comfortable beds and ample space.

Great property in a great location

The property was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with tools. We stayed in the king room and the bed was very comfortable. We used the house as a jumping-off point for Acadia so we made breakfast (nearly) every morning, and lunch to pack for hikes in the park. It’s a short walk to Bar Harbor restaurants and the main grocery store, Hannaford, is less than a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Amazing Location

This is an awesome historic house. One block off one of the main roads in Bar Harbour so very easy walk to restaurants, shops, grocery store and the bike shop. There is a parking spot next the house. Very clean and well appointed. Loved having a washer and dryer in the basement. We were a group of 2 couples and 1 single and had plenty of space to gather and hang out. Just be aware that one of the 2 bathrooms is on the first floor while all the bedrooms are on the second floor. Wasn't a problem for us, just had to coordinate a little bit with the group. Great value for the location!!
