Incredibile vista frontale sull'oceano di Frenchman Bay

Il sistema di home entertainment di Baycliff è la natura.

Guarda la natura svolgersi in tutto il suo splendore dalla comodità del tavolo o del divano della sala da pranzo. Le grandi finestre e i lucernari ti permettono di osservare il carattere mutevole di Frenchman Bay. Guarda albe e tramonti incredibili, nuvole che attraversano il cielo, il malumore di una giornata nuvolosa o l'avvicinarsi di una tempesta. È una storia infinita di cambiamenti.

La spiaggia cambia anche il suo carattere al flusso e riflusso della marea. Ci sono massi esposti durante la bassa marea insieme alle alghe.

Guarda le aragoste che lavorano nella baia o cormorani e gabbiani che fanno il pendolare e dall'oceano. Ci sono svassi e altri interessanti uccelli marini da vedere e da trovare. Può anche passare l'aquila calva occasionale.

Il cottage è completamente arredato con una bella cucina completa, che ha anche una splendida vista. Due bagni completi e mezzo bagno La casa dispone di una connessione internet di alto livello, WiFi e canali via cavo. C'è una lavatrice e asciugatrice.

Ci sono due camere da letto al piano di sopra, una stanza anteriore di livello principale con un futon e un seminterrato finito che ha un letto a castello. C'è un limite di sei persone.

We had amazing stay at Baycliff. The house is in great location, only 10 minutes from Acadia NP and downtown Bar Harbor. The house has great deck with beautiful view of the Bay; very clean and very well equipped. Kevin was great host; quick to respond to any questions.We truly enjoyed this vacation and would definitely come back again.

This charming New England home was perfect for our first visit to Maine. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking in, Conveniently located to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. But also perfect for relaxing on the deck and taking in the amazing view. Kevin is a fantastic host, quickly responds to all communication, and clearly loves sharing this property with others. We will be back to Baycliff!

Wonderful view and location

Great location! Very quiet and away from the hussle of downtown, but a quick drive away. Check-in couldn't be easier. Communication with Kevin on our 1 issue was quick and taken care of right away. And the views were worth every minute we spent enjoying. Amazimg sunrises.

Enchanting house and views

The house is comfortable and clean with all the amenities. It’s tastefully decorated and pleasant to be in. The long deck overlooking the bay is gorgeous.We felt the quiet peace and serenity during our stay. Sightings of bald eagles, loons cormorants and seals were delightful.Our host was quick to respond to any issues.We highly recommend this place.

A beautiful and serene place. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing (from the house!) 10 minute drive to bar harbor and Acadia. Super clean and tidy and has everything needed to make a variety of meals. A real home away from home! We hiked, kayaked, and enjoyed a live production at the Acadia Rep Theatre.

Wonderful retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baycliff. The peaceful setting on Frenchman Bay was the perfect place to relax, with plenty of birds and sea life to keep us entertained. Wonderful getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baycliff, being 2 adults & 2 18 y/o 'kids'. The view is truly mesmerizing, one of the best on MDI ! Super clean. Well appointed, they thought of everything you might need. The building and furnishings are in excellent condition. Owner is helpful and highly responsive to questions. This is a comfortable, cozy cottage. The rooms are small, but some big windows, skylights and high ceilings help it feel spacious. The wifi connections were solid and fast. We were able to 'work from home' when required, from the lower level space, with clear uninterrupted zoom and remote desktop connections. When not working or out in the park playing, we were able to stream music or netflix without any issues. As described, the other cottages on site share the waters-edge deck occasionally, so it is not completely private but there is enough distance between to be comfortable. The only possible improvement might be a sliding insulated window (instead of folding doors) between lower bedroom & living room for increased sound separation for those on different sleep schedules (ie teenagers vs middle agers...), although enjoying the amazing view from all rooms was appreciated. We enjoyed watching the abundant wildlife, and making friends with the chippies. We enjoyed the historic photos, clearly this property has been beloved by generations - and for good reason. All in all, a great find. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful stay at Baycliff!

We had a wonderful week at Baycliff. The view from the deck is amazing and the house is well appointed. Communication with the property owner was excellent. We hope to be able to make a return trip!

Best family vacation ever!

Baycliff has everything you could possibly want in a vacation home. The view is spectacular. The location is convenient to everything you would want to do in Bar Harbor and Acadia. The owner, Kevin, communicates very well and gives great tips. The house has everything you will need. Our family stayed a week and loved every minute of our stay. After exploring and seeing the beauty of the area you get to come back to the house and enjoy the beautiful view. We hope to be able to go back some day! Thank you Kevin.

Thanksgiving 2024

Beautiful house with an amazing view of the water! We saw lots of birds and a seal swimming by. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was a cozy space to have Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back again. Kevin was very helpful and super responsive.

Perfect fall getaway

First Trip to Maine

We enjoyed staying at Baycliff for our family vacation to Maine for the first time. It was conveniently located close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National park. We were lucky to have been able to see the northern lights, seals, and a double rainbow off the back deck. Very clean and nice property we would love to come back again.

Great location to explore Bar Harbor

Our vacation consisted of friends joining us for the first week and then family coming in to stay the second week. The house sits on Frenchman Bay which allowed for beautiful daily sunrises and the chance to watch the lobster boats check traps. The binoculars in the house were powerful and allowed us to view the rituals daily. The home is fully furnished, so whether you use the kitchen a lot or a little, every utensil we needed was available. Everyone commented on the comfort of the beds, great water pressure, and a stellar location requiring only a short drive to get to Acadia, downtown, and local restaurants. The area was very quiet since it sits off the highway and has multiple small roads to get out to walk without traffic if you have children or pets. We appreciated the AC availability, but only turned it on twice the entire 2 weeks. The property manager and local contact were prompt with communications.

A beautiful week in Bar Harbor

We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor. The house was beautiful- outstanding view of the water! The house had everything we needed and Acadia was stunning. I loved sitting on the deck and listening to the seagulls. memories to last a lifetime.

Peaceful beautiful view

Excellent location this home is nestled in the serenity of the wooded landscape on the Frenchman Bay! Close proximity to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. So much to see and do in the area. Baycliff was clean and comfortable with beautiful sunrises! My friends and I so enjoyed staying here!

Amazing House and Views

Amazing home and the views are incredible

Our family of 4 adults (and our French bulldog) absolutely loved our stay at Baycliff. Kevin was so thoughtful and prompt in his responses to my questions, giving suggestions on where to go (the easiest hikes ;)), etc. We had such an amazing time, as first-timers to Maine and the Bar Harbor area. Morning coffees and evening wine on the deck overlooking Frenchman's Bay capped off fun days spent in Acadia and/or Bar Harbor. As far as 'guided' tours are concerned, we loved the evening 2-hour Happy Hour Nature Cruise and the Premium Bus Tour of Acadia. The Lobster Pound had the best lobster rolls (IMO), and was so close to the house that we went twice :) The house everything that you would ever need.... THANK YOU Kevin for making such a nice property available for all of us 'strangers' to enjoy!
