The Acadia National Park entrance to Cadillac Mountain is just around the corner. Guests can reach Eagle Lake, Duck Brook, and Witch Hole Carriage Road within minutes. Eagle Lake Road truly lives up to the name, just look up to spot bald eagles or peregrine falcons soaring overhead or nesting nearby. The back field is a natural crossing for deer, turkeys, and other wildlife that wander through. Just across the street is Kebo Valley Golf Course, the 8th‑oldest golf course in the United States. Driveway parking for 2–3 vehicles will help you avoid searching for downtown spots and paying meter fees. Secure storage is available for bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, golf equipment, and more. Inside, a well‑organized brochure wall offers maps, local information, and up‑to‑date island activities to help you plan each day with ease. Avoiding congested Acadia Visitor Centers will save time and frustration! My family has lived on the island for six generations, and we love sharing the history, stories, and hidden secrets of Acadia. We had a great stay! The location is very convenient to town and Acadia, instructions were clear, communication with the owner was easy. There was plenty of room for our family to have our own space and they were well stocked with everything we needed to cook, clean and do laundry. It was very comfortable!

Everything went very smoothly, the house was very clean and organized and perfect for our family of 5. Great location as well. The Bar Harbor house was perfect for our family of 5. It was very clean and in a perfect location. Deborah communicated very well and was super thoughtful giving us insider tips and stocking the kitchen with so many necessities to make our trip more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone going to the Bar Harbor area!

Family vacation

Great property and owner. Short walk to town and short drive to the park. We enjoyed eating and shopping in town. Acadia park had great trails. The property was well stocked with kitchen equipment and food.

Our stay was amazing and the house was perfect!! So close to the park and restaurants made it so convenient. The owners Deb and Dan provided us so much info and was available immediately for any questions. Five stars for the house and our stay and Deb and Dan!!

Beautiful home in a convenient location! Deb went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Many “extras” were available if needed, snacks, condiments, coffee, toiletries etc. A deer was in the back yard for hours one morning!

This is a lovely, comfortable, very clean home in a great location—just minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Deb thought of everything to make the home feel welcoming. It was so helpful to have the refrigerator stocked with the basics, a frozen lasagna, and snacks and coffee for our stay. Deb was caring and kind, and she and Dan were available to help if needed.

Amazing location— ~20 min walk to town and~15 min drive to Acadia hikes Deborah went above and beyond to host us even setting us up with some starter groceries and a bunch of recommendations. House is clean and comfortable. Would certainly recommend!

Great House, Great Host

This house was great for our vacation. It's close enough to downtown to do things there, but far enough away not to be affected by the crowds of tourists. Deb was always asking if we needed anything. The house has books of information about the island from a local's point of view. We loved our stay.

A week in Bar Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home. There was plenty of room for my family of five, was in a great location, and was very clean. The host was very easy to communicate with and made our stay enjoyable. The fridge was stocked with some food for arrival, and many other items are provided as well. We hope to return and would definitely stay in this home again.

We loved our time spent at Deb and Dan's Bar Harbor home. They were amazing, gracious hosts and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. It truly felt like a home away from home and the location was perfect, so close to Bar Harbor and all that Acadia has to offer. I can't wait to book our next stay with them! Bar Harbor Gem

Beautiful newly built 4 bedroom home conveniently located within a mile of Bar Harbor main district. Very close to the entrance of Acadia National Park as well. House was comfortably set up with plenty of linens, cooking and eating utensils and good supply of staples. Owner has maps, tourist information and restaurant guides available to use.

A great stay in Bar Harbor

Deb was incredibly welcoming and the house is stocked with anything that you can possibly need. It was spacious for our group of 3 families. The location can't be beat -- close enough to walk or bike into town and near the entrance to the carriage trails. We come to Bar Harbor every year and I plan to be back to Deb's house!

Perfect for Bar Harbor & Acadia!

This home is wonderful! The home is newly renovated, very comfortable furniture, lots of bedrooms, well appointed with all kitchen, bed, bath supplies you could ever need. Deb has thought of everything and the home is super comfortable and perfectly located to walk into town or a short drive to Arcadia. Our family of 4 had more than enough room and really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend and would love to come back!

Family Long Weekend Trip

This was ideal for our family of 5 adults staying for a long weekend. It is a brand new and very clean house with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Host Deb took care of small details to make the rental feel like home and was accessible during our stay to answer questions. Location was great - it was an easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor waterfront and a manageable bike ride to the carriage trails in Acadia. We would definitely stay here again.
