Cabina di tronchi sul lago Tunk Lake in DownEast Main

Ora prenotando per l'estate 2020. L'estate 2019 è stata prenotata solida entro settembre 2018. Fine settembre e ottobre 2019 ancora disponibili.

Il Taylor Camp è disponibile per le famiglie che desiderano trascorrere una vacanza tranquilla e rilassante su uno dei laghi più belli e privati di tutta la Nuova Inghilterra. Lungo cinque miglia, Tunk Lake ha solo 12 cabine a sud dei 2/3 del lago. Il Taylor Camp è perfetto per le tue vacanze in famiglia. La cabina è una baita con tutte le comodità di casa: TV satellitare / Internet, lavatrice / asciugatrice, schermata in veranda ... e molto altro. Semplicemente non c'è niente di meglio di questo! DownEast Magazine (giugno 2019) ha nominato Tunk Lake uno dei 32 più amati "Grandi stagni" del Maine, ognuno con il suo carattere e il suo fascino.

Shopping locale e strutture mediche: Ellsworth è a circa 30 minuti dal Taylor Camp. Include 2 catene di negozi di alimentari (Hanaford & Shaws), WalMart, Fast Food (McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Friendly's, Taco Bell, ecc.), Home Depot, Hospital, Walk-in Medical Clinic e molto altro.

Posizione: Lago di Tunk: nuoto, escursioni, mt. arrampicarsi, andare in barca, pescare sul lago Tunk, e poiché il lago ha così poche cabine, il traffico in barca è molto leggero. Non sono ammessi moto d'acqua (per legge).

Bar Harbor è una bellissima città vecchia del New England e assolutamente da vedere. ACADIA NATIONAL PARK è l'unico parco nazionale del nordest. Non perderti Schoodic Point, che fa parte del Parco Nazionale di Acadia e si trova sulla costa nella zona di Winter Harbor.

Ristoranti: ci sono molti ristoranti tra Tunk Lake ed Ellsworth, nella zona di Winter Harbor, e a Bar Harbor. C'è qualcosa per tutti, da tutte le principali catene di fast food (a Ellsworth), alla cucina raffinata.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Once a deposit is made, a rental agreement must be signed and returned within a week.

We booked for solitude and serenity, and we were not disappointed. Lots of time to read, paint, and knit. Cabin was clean and nicely equipped. Very pleased with our stay. Our host was helpful to provide precise instructions and directions. Glad to mark off the state of Maine with such fine accommodations!

Peace and tranquility

This was our third stay at Taylor Camp and we just love it. Privacy, privacy, privacy. So nice to be able to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings with quiet and no activity other than your own. The home is lovely, water crystal clear. A wonderful place.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful vacation home/property! It came with so many great amenities that made our stay extra comfortable, from a fully stocked kitchen to great outdoor seating and everything in between. Jim's camp was more than we could have hoped for... well stocked, serene, beautiful envirnment, good communication.,, We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our adult children and grandchildren and we were all comfortable and felt taken care of. The Taylor camp was wonderful, well equipped and very clean. The property manager was very thoughtful and reached out several times to make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The view of the stars from the dock was breathtaking.

An amazing stay!

This was our second stay at Taylor Cabin. The cabin is welcoming and comfortable, the lake views are beautiful, and we’ve never been anywhere more peaceful and secluded! We spent most of our time floating and kayaking on the lake or sitting on the dock just enjoying the picturesque views and the nighttime stars. Day trips to Winter Harbor, Bar Harbor, and Acadia were also highlights. Hope to return again in the future!

Lovely and peaceful

Taylor Camp is the perfect spot for those seeking a serene space to enjoy the natural beauty of Maine. The house was clean and comfortable, felt roomy even for our large group, and was equipped with everything we needed - stocked kitchen, excellent laundry, games and puzzles, kayaks w/ PFDs, a grill, comfortable beds, large closets, lots of hooks for hanging things, a fabulous screened porch, and much else I'm forgetting to mention. Tunk Lake is a treasure. Great hiking nearby, and we also made several trips to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The owner provided great information prior to our trip and was helpful after arrival as well. We feel fortunate that we found the Taylor Camp for our family trip to Maine.

Great vacation

Can’t say enough good things about this property. Jim was super easygoing through the entire process. The cabin is such an awesome property, and is far away enough but still within reason to restaurants and shopping centers. Tunk Lake is so peaceful and the views from the dock are breathtaking. Anyone looking to get away to an awesome cabin in a tranquil setting this is for you. We will most certainly be coming back!!

Peace and privacy

Loon chatter on the lake, the change of seasons right before our eyes, and the okay to bring our dog made this a special vacation. Such a beautiful spot with so much privacy! It felt like a real disconnect from "normal" life. Much needed and much appreciated.

Beautiful Lake House

Taylor Camp is on a beautiful and quiet lake that’s really the star of the show. The house is comfortable, well laid out for a family, well equipped, and nicely kept. We especially enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and listening to the loons at night. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back at point in the future.
