Amazing breakfast after cold shower
Large and modern room, comfy bed, fantastic breakfast, nice position close to many restaurants. Downsides: open bathroom (except the toilet, of course), not clear (or not possible at all??) how to set the temperature of water in the shower and it was almost cold....

Acogedor, moderno y bien ubicado. Lo único que me llamó la atención fue el tema de la limpieza de pisos en las habitaciones. El servicio de limpieza es bueno y dejan todo en su lugar, pero no se ocuparon de aspirar mi piso durante toda mi estancia que fue algo larga. Por lo demás muy bien.

Dejligt personale på hotellet. Smilene, venligt og hjælpsomme. Vi havde brug for at få vores morgenmad togo grundet tidlig flyvning samt en taxa på et bestemt tidspunkt, hvilket de leverede. Morgenmadsbuffeten var super lækker med noget for en hver samt er deres a la varte menu lækker. Fint størrelse værelse og seng med det man skal bruge. Dog er pengeskabet lidt til den mindre side. Derudover er sengene og puderne til den noget hårde side. Negativt ved hotellet var dog også, at væggene er meget tynde, og vi blev holdt oppe/vækket af larmende naboer. Alt i alt havde vi et ganske fint ophold på Hotel Paxton.

Wonderful stay!
It was AMAZING. The room was gorgeous and so comfortable. The staff were great especially at reception. They helped us everyday with taxis and restaurant locations. They even booked our dinners for us. We miss it already!

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location
Family of four. Stayed for 3 nights with our 15 and 12 year old children to explore Barcelona. Every staff member was helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Rooftop pool perfect for us. 35 minute walk to the city centre which we did daily and enjoyed the scenery en route. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Taxi rank visible from hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel.

great unique hotel, in an amazing location - the breakfast is exceptional, the style is great. It is perfectly located so you can do either the beach or the city. Only slight niggle was the noise levels from adjacent rooms, could hear people stomping around and we were given a disabled access bathroom which was fine but the water gets everywhere so not great for people sharing

Prefekt läge och underbart poolområde!
Underbart hotell med jätte bra läge, fyra minuters promenad till tunnelbanan, som är en liten och lätt station att åka ifrån. Därifrån tar det ca 10 minuter in till centrum. Området ser inte trevligt ut när man får från tunnelbanan till hotellet men går man istället 1 minut åt andra hållet från hotellet så kommer man till en gå gata som går enda mer till stranden. Där finns massor med restauranger och caféer. Promenad till stranden tar ca 10 minuter. Rummet är bra, hög standard för att vara fyrstjärnigt i Spanien. Vi åt aldrig något på hotellet så kan inte säga något om maten. Poolområde är underbart, så sköna solsängar, bra bar med underbara drinkar. Vi hade sol från i stort sett morgon till ca 17 så vill man sola går det bra. Personalen är jätte trevliga och hjälpsamma och städningen är topp. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell.

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood. Clean and comfortable. Staff was wonderful and friendly. All speak English. I appreciated the free candy in the lobby too. Guilty pleasure. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Great hotel but the rooms need some attention
I've stayed at the Paxton many many times and it was one of my favorite hotels in Barcelona but over the years it feels like the rooms are not bering maintained as well as it should. THE BAD: The cleanliness of the rooms have decreased over time and the air in the room is very stale due to terrible ventilation. There is nowhere for the air to go and the rooms have all started to smell weird. The elevator doors on each floor are filthy. I don't understand why they don't clean them. The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The pillows provide little support. Overall i don't think the rooms are being maintained as they should be and the quality is decreasing over time. THE GOOD: The lobby, lounge and dining areas are fantastic. The menu and selection are also very good. Breakfast is great and the vibe of the hotel is awesome and well designed. The location is fantastic too. Only a short walk to the beach and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Getting a taxi is also fast and easy. The bar makes great drinks and the staff is very nice.

The hotel is not soundproof at all. The noise from outside is like all windows are open even when they are tightly closed.. BUT THE WORST PART this hotel insist on copying your credit card details with many many people having access to the system.. It is a huge security risk for everyone staying here. NO OTHER HOTEL IN BARCELONA THAT I STAYED DOES THIS AND I STAYED 4 OTHER HOTELS BESIDES THIS ONE..

Loved our stay at Paxton Hotel. Beautiful room, quiet neighbourhood, great service. Underground access only 2 blocks away. Will come again.

Fue un hotel muy maravilloso. El personal del recepción fue muy agradable. El lobby y el restaurante son buenos, espacial y ubicados muy bien. El habitación fue muy grande, situado en una esquina, tiene muchas ventanas. Una ducha grande con fregadero grande también. Una cama muy grande y perfecto para dormir. He visitado la playa todos los días, solo es 10 minutos a pie. La rambla de Poble Nou está muy cerca y acogedor. También la estación de metro Llacuna está muy cerca. Muchas restaurantes y tiendas para desayunar alrededor del hotel. En breve situado perfecto. Fue un poco frío fuera, pero sobretodo he nacido unas vueltas. Perfecto también! Hay un poco ruido de la calle en la habitación, pero esa es todo negativo. Quisiera volver otravez!
