“This is a beautifully renovated property perfect for bourbon lovers! The bar and speakeasy are fantastic as is the restaurant. The one thing to keep in mind is the hotel is not within walking distance of downtown. We were able to schedule taxis after talking to the hotel staff. Definitely a great place to stay in Bardstown!”

“I didn’t bring shampoo so that was a minor thing. With the skunks in the area having some sort of solution at hand might be worthwhile I’ve used a powder enzyme with good results. Also minor but the ladybug congregation was interesting. ”

“We had a great stay at the Bourbon Oak Smokehouse. Robert and family were quick to communicate, both with guidance about the house and about things to do and places to go in Bardstown. The house was neat and clean, and while there are imperfections, they simply add to the charm of a historic home. The house is within a short drive (though it can definitely be walked) to downtown Bardstown with all its shops, bars, and restaurants.
