Thanks so much Geert. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and found the house well equipped and Serena our manager helpful. Just to point out to others, it is a 20 minute drive to Barga from the house. Here there are many restaurants, bars, shops and the old town to explore. So, although it is further to Lucca, Florence and Siena, as we pointed out to you before booking, there are amenities and other places of interest close by. There is also a lovely restaurant 5 mins drive up the hill at Renaio. A taxi service is available for those who would like a night out in Barga. Activities such as the local canyon park for paddleboarding and zipwire is 40 minutes away. Lucca is one hour away by car. Pisa and the coast are an hour and a half and Florence 2 hours. Tack så mycket, Peter - and that's where my Swedish runs out! So glad you had a great stay at the house and enjoyed all the facilities. A music option by the pool is a good idea - we'll look into making that happen. We appreciate your comments about the winding roads from Barga - it's worth future guests knowing that this house is all about getting away from it all, rather than being in a town/village environment.
