Baite a Baring

“Stayed for an extended weekend (Friday-Monday) at the end of May for our Anniversary. Found the listing while browsing, and fell in love with with the pictures. Initially we booked for a Fri-Sun. I requested a late checkout and the hostess was glad to work with us. Later, when I realized that it was a holiday weekend, I reached back out to her and she helped us to extend the weekend until Monday. Relatively isolated (could hear occasional foot and vehicle traffic over the Baring bridge, one...

“Perfect little first getaway with our one month old baby. We stayed in the bedroom downstairs to be closest to the bathroom and kitchen and that bedroom had space for our travel crib. We spent most of the time out on the back deck listening to the river or walking around the neighborhood, exploring the various paths down to the water. We drove into town for coffee one morning which was great. We loved that this spot was casual, dog friendly, and quiet. Would definitely stay again!”

“It was very cozy. The cabin was clean and quiet. Very much needed recharge. The walk to the river can be a little slippery so make sure you are wearing appropriate footing. The hottub was nice an warm and very romantic. ”

“My second stay at Sky River, needless to say we really love it! A wonderful log cabin right in the Skykomish, very private and cozy. Rustic in the good way, with most amenities but you will prefer to read a book, sit by the fire pit or float in the river. See you next year!”
