Cottage was ok but after booking through hotels.com I was contacted by Host & Stay and advised I had to pay an additional fee for a damage waiver.
Alternatively I could pay a deposit but they take an admin fee so you don’t get the full amount back plus they state they may take 14 days to refund.

"Visited on a weekend and there were so many different functions going on that it was too busy and noisy. Really not worth the money. Also room was cold and musty and there was mould on the back of curtains"

"We stayed in a family room which was very spacious and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Really quiet and great location in the city. Did not eat or drink in hotel but the bar and restaurant looked very welcoming. Overall a great place to stay."
